The bicameral (by morons is what it really is) NYS legislatures produces mountains of legislation (laws). Maybe camels would do a better job. Many of the laws are unfunded mandates, taxes, fees & regulations that kill business & the soul.
There seems to be no cure for an electorate who elects the 'camels'. The Legislative Office Building (LOB) contains thousands of people who contribute to the legislative anarchy. The laws that are imposed on us are crafted by lobbyist & LOB lawyers. Occasionally a camel comes up with an idea.
Compel the camels to craft legislation, no lobbyist & a handful of lawyers to verify constitutionality of legislation proposed. The camels not capable of legislation construction (most of them) would function as office help. The camels are use to three men in a room doing everything, having no say will come naturally.
I wonder if LOB stands for Legislative Office Building or short for LOBbyist?
If the camels have to do the work of bill drafting, less legislation will flow & the state will be the better for it.
How may people have a job with a title but get someone else to do their work. It is a short list with NYS Legislators at the top of the list.
