Everyone realizes Metrograft is a flop, a taxpayer rip off and a shell game. The Van Dyke debacle was a complete failure, where the Metrograft bozos got conned again and again. Then they have the nerve to lie about supposed interest at an auction and bankruptcy laws.

     Does the term closed out second mean anything yet? It should after The Parker Inn fiasco. More ready to go belly up. End it. Return the increase in sales taxes directly to the towns and City general funds. County property owners need a break today.

I agree, stop using a magnifying glass to fry the ants and pull out the industrial sized bottle of RAID bug spray. The county is crawling with ants at every level of government.  There aren't enough magnifying glasses or hours in the day to exterminate the bureaucratic infestation in Schenectady County.

Actually DV, the supporters of taking money away from the neighborhoods and giving it to the millionaires downtown is what is destroying civilication and decency in the city.

Proof of that is how the neighborhoods no longer are a decent place to live.   The neighborhoods have become uncivilized thanks to the high crime, the proliferation of vacant and abandoned houses, often used by vagrants and drug dealiers.  There is no decency in roads being in poor condition.  There is no decenty in peoples homes being damaged due to poor conditions of roads in the neighborhoods, there is no decency to sewers and watermains overflowing into peoples' basements (for which the city won't even pay for the damage by the way, the homeowners have to food the bill), all this due to the taxpayers money being spent on downtown instead of using the taxpayers money to sufund services for the taxpayers

And the RPD wonders why they are suspect with their supporters and cronies making threats like that. When Ron is in power there will some problems here for the RPD and the taxpayers once the town loses the multi-million dollar lawsuits this kind of action will cause. Oh, that's right- Ron will never BE in power, because as much as he is the voice of the Buffardi squad, they will never let him polish the urinals in town hall IF they ever get elected.

Under the dems, violent crime has went way way up, even children are being killed while playing during the daytime.  Schools have at times, during the school days been put on lockdowns.  There have been shootings near schools during the school day.     DV, the rest of us oppose the use of tax dollar to give to millionaires and billionaires who can well afford to fund their own businessees.  The rest of us are opposed to exempting those millionaires and billionaires from having to pay property taxes while at the same time, making the financially struggling homoeowners pay not only their own property taxes but having their tax bills jacked up super high to pay for the taxes that the rich don't pay.  

So explain, HOW is our opposition to taxing homeonwers so high destroying civilization?   Please provide some expplanation for that.  Oh,. you have no explanation.

Tell us how our wanting to see tax dollars going to improve the neighborhoods, making them a safe place to live, and wanting taxes to be used for for necessary city services is destroying civilization and decency.

In fact, you can find numerous downtown business owners who are resentful of the money wasted on the Van Dyke. Hard working, intelligent, involved citizens, and yet they don't approve. How can this be? How can they be so unenlightened? Maybe that letter to the paper will set them straight.

The renaissance is so great the City DEM morons can't pay their School tax and County tax bills. Cash flow problems boys and girls? LOL! But they have money to keep flushing on Proctor's. Metrograft bozos, curbs and the pathetic DSIC. The DSIC is so bad that they can't even run an art's night. Show me the graters!

      Madame X is right. Downtown merchants are totally fed up with this DEM friends and family club. They see independent businesses going out left and right and then the Chamber/Metrograft bozos blame their business plan or product line. How about your business plan-if any? The entire corrupt DEM house is collapsing. Death Ray should pitch a tent amidst the rumble of his Robinson Square Mall and make that the new Metrograft offices.
