"Hidden" mortgage fee paying for payroll tax cut

By
    Sharyl Attkisson

(CBS News)

I just heard about this 'hidden' increase in mortgage loans.
Also just heard from someone who was buying a home. A local bank gave them all of the info for a 30 year loan. The folks told the bank that they wanted a 15 year loan. The bank was very very reluctant to give them the 15 year info. Pretty much tried to pressure them into a 30 year(more money for the bank). They walked out and actually went through a bank in VT. where they received a much better deal!! TRUE STORY!

But Obama said that he wouldn't raise taxes one dime on anyone making less than $250,000.

Oh but shadow...it's not a real tax!
It's just the banks being mandated to raise their rates which in turn would go back to the government to support a socialist program that folks are 'forced' to buy into.
And to think they called Clinton 'slick willie'!

Dependency Index Shoots Up 23% Under President Obama
By JOHN MERLINE, INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY
The American public's dependence on the federal government shot up 23% in just two years under President Obama, with 67 million now relying on some federal program, according to a newly released study by the Heritage Foundation.
The conservative think tank's annual Index of Dependence on Government tracks money spent on housing, health, welfare, education subsidies and other federal programs that were "traditionally provided to needy people by local organizations and families."
The increase under Obama is the biggest two-year jump since Jimmy Carter was president, the data show.
The rise was driven mainly by increases in housing subsidies, an expansion in Medicaid and changes to the welfare system, along with a sharp rise in food stamps, the study found.
"You can't get around the fact that policy decisions made over the past two years, on top of those made over the past several decades, are having a large effect on the pace of growth of the index," said William Beach, who authored the Heritage study.
Dependence on the government has climbed steadily since 1962, when the index stood at 19. By 1980, the index had risen to 100. It stood at 294 in 2010, the last year for which the data are available. The D.C.-based Heritage Foundation has produced the index for nine years.
The report also found that spending on "dependence programs" accounts for more than 70% of the federal budget. That, too, is up dramatically. In 1990, for example, the figure stood at 48.5%, and in 1962 just over a quarter of federal spending went to dependence programs.
At the same time, fewer Americans pay income taxes, the report notes. Almost half (49.5%) didn't pay income taxes in 2009, the latest year for which the researchers have data. Back in the late 1960s, only 12% of Americans escaped the income tax burden.
The number of people dependent on the federal government shot up 7.5% over the past two years.

The key words of this post are highlighted in bold:
~the Heritage Foundation.
~The conservative think tank
~the Heritage study
~The D.C.-based Heritage Foundation

When Conservatives do a "CONSERVATIVE STUDY", the results is always A CONSERVATIVE AGENDA!

Take this one sentence from Shadows post:
The report also found that spending on "dependence programs" accounts for more than 70% of the federal budget.
Now look at where the Federal Budget is actually spent:
FY2011 Federal budget: Defence in pink.

That's why Ron Paul will be on the Presidential ticket in November.  Whether it is on the top or bottom of the ticket, only time will tell.  There is a political reality that the establishment Republicans are faced with if they want to win.

I certainly hope that Ron Paul will be somewhere on the ballot in November.

Obama's  Dept of Justice and Dept of Health and Human Services Recovered $4.1 Billion In 2011!

Federal authorities say they recovered $4.1 billion in health care fraud judgments last year, a record high which
officials on Monday credited to new tools for cracking down on deceitful Medicare claims.

The recovered funds are up roughly 50 percent from 2009. Attorney General Eric Holder and Department of
Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius were expected to make the announcement at a news
conference today.

Authorities have long said the solution to solving the nation's estimated $60 billion to $90 billion a year Medicare
fraud problem lies in vigorously screening providers and stopping payment to suspicious ones.

(From the Taxpayers, To President Obama... THANK YOU!)
