*If any other of our presidents had doubled the national debt,
which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate,
in one year,
would you have approved?*

*If any other of our presidents had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years,
would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had criticized a state law
that he admitted he never even read,
would you think that he is just an ignorant hot head? *

*If any other of our presidents joined the country of Mexico
and sued a state in the United States to force that state
to continue to allow illegal immigration, would you question his patriotism and wonder who's side he was on? *

*If any other of our presidents had pronounced the Marine Corps like Marine Corpse, would you think him an idiot? *

*If any other of our presidents had put 87,000 workers out of work by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling on companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry because one foreign company had an accident,
would you have agreed? *

*If any other of our presidents had used a forged document
as the basis of the moratorium that would render 87,000 American workers unemployed would you support him? *

*If any other of our presidents had been the first President to need a TelePrompTer installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes? *

*If any other of our presidents had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take his First Lady to a play in NYC,
would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had reduced your retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVD's, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had given the Queen of England
an Pod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought it a proud moment for America ? *

*If any other of our presidents had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had visited Austria and made reference to the nonexistent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip? *

*If any other of our presidents had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had stated that there were 57 states in the United States, wouldn't you have had second thoughts about his capabilities? *

*If any other of our presidents would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out his front door in his home town,
would you not have thought he was a
self-important, conceited, egotistical jerk. *

*If any other of our presidents had been so Spanish illiterate
as to refer to "Chino de Castro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Chino de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again,
wouldn't you have winced in embarrassment? *

*If any other of our presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?*

*If any other of our presidents' administrations had okayed
Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic,
would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11? *

*If any other of our presidents had failed to send relief aid
to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed
or made homeless than in New Orleans,
would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence? *

*If any other of our presidents had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America ,
would you have ever approved. *
*If any other of our presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved? *

I dont think the REPS really care if they lose....they themselves like Obama....they promote the "protection of the rich" when in all reality they WILL allow him to be re-elected because of the CHANGE in the trade/money system currently...
all because of tech/youth....dont worry...those poor poor rich DEMS/REPS ain't loosing sh!t.....and not a one of them really cares about the gas prices at the pump....they are all red herrings....we will always be in 'that bracket'....

same with the DNA data base, for what? 'safety'? really? nah.....dont think so folks....pay attention to Romney's self-deportation statement.....so self-deportation of American citizens will occur too...especially if one doesn't want to
be in a 'safety data base'.....I wonder if awards will be given out like perfect attendence awards for the teenager without a DNA sample.....

their skirts are up and we can see their business.....their language is slower than the internet....and they even have media spinners bought and paid for(BOTH PARTIES)....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The U.S. economy "grew at its fastest pace in more than a year and a half in the fourth quarter, signaling that a sturdier
recovery took hold despite troubles in other parts of the world," the Wall Street Journal reports.

"Gross domestic product -- the value of all goods and services produced -- grew at an annual rate of 2.8% between
October and December... That is up from 1.8% growth in the third quarter and 1.3% in the second quarter."
(Wall Street Journal)

2011 GDP: 1.7%
Joe Weisenthal | 4 hours ago | 138,803 | 117

From the just-released GDP report:

Real GDP increased 1.7 percent in 2011 (that is, from the 2010 annual level to the 2011 annual level), compared with an increase of 3.0 percent in 2010.

The increase in real GDP in 2011 primarily reflected positive contributions from personal consumption expenditures (PCE), exports, and nonresidential fixed investment that were partly offset by negative contributions from state and local government spending, private inventory investment, and federal government spending.  Imports, which are a subtraction in the calculation of GDP, increased.

Not exactly a barnburner.

The GDP index is far from the glory days of the Clinton Administration, but yet a steady growth from the
Bush Economic Disaster on our way to recovery.

Obama will be re-elected.

A new Pew Research poll finds Republicans remain unimpressed with their party's presidential candidates.
More Republicans and Republican leaning independents say the GOP field is FAIR or POOR, 52% than did so in early
January 44%.

Only 46% of Republican voters have positive opinions of the GOP field.
At about this point four years ago, 68% of Republican and GOP-leaning voters rated the field as excellent or good.

CBO: Taxes Will ‘Shoot Up by More Than 30 Percent’ Over Next 2 Years

(CNSNews.com) - The amount of money the federal government takes out of the U.S. economy in taxes will increase by more than 30 percent between 2012 and 2014, according to the Budget and Economic Outlook published today by the CBO.

At the same time, according to CBO, the economy will remain sluggish, partly because of higher taxes.

“In particular, between 2012 and 2014, revenues in CBO’s baseline shoot up by more than 30 percent,” said CBO, “mostly because of the recent or scheduled expirations of tax provisions, such as those that lower income tax rates and limit the reach of the alternative minimum tax (AMT), and the imposition of new taxes, fees, and penalties that are scheduled to go into effect.”

The U.S. economy, CBO projects, will perform “below its potential” for another six years and unemployment will remain above 7 percent for another three.

Quoted Text
The Congressional Budget Office is projecting some rough economic numbers for President Obama this re-election year, but perhaps with some relief in the years ahead.

"In its baseline, CBO projects that the 2012 federal budget deficit will be about $1.1 trillion, and that the economy will continue its sluggish recovery, with unemployment remaining above 8 percent both this year and next," says a summary of a report released this morning.

As a percentage of the overall economy, the projected deficit of 7% is "nearly 2 percentage points below the deficit recorded in 2011, but still higher than any deficit between 1947 and 2008," the report says.

The CBO also says that annual deficits are projected to "decline markedly" over the next decade -- but only if the George W. Bush-era tax cuts expire as scheduled at the end of this year.

Recall that Congress and Obama extended those tax cuts for another two years back in 2010.

Also from the Congressional Budget Office:

In part because of the dampening effect of the higher tax rates and curbs on spending scheduled to occur this year and next, CBO expects that the economy will continue to recover slowly, with real GDP growing by 2.0 percent this year and 1.1 percent next year (as measured by the change from the fourth quarter of the previous calendar year). CBO expects economic activity to quicken after 2013 but to remain below the economy's potential until 2018.

In CBO's forecast, the unemployment rate remains above 8 percent both this year and next, a consequence of continued weakness in demand for goods and services. As economic growth picks up after 2013, the unemployment rate will gradually decline to around 7 percent by the end of 2015, before dropping to near 5½ percent by the end of 2017.

While the economy continues to recover during the next few years, inflation and interest rates will remain low. In CBO's forecast, the price index for personal consumption expenditures increases by just 1.2 percent in 2012 and 1.3 percent in 2013, and rates on 10-year Treasury notes average 2.3 percent in 2012 and 2.5 percent in 2013. As the economy's output approaches its potential later in the decade, inflation and interest rates will rise to more normal levels.

The report adds, however: "Many developments could produce economic outcomes that differ from CBO's forecast."

Gallup state numbers predict huge Obama loss
byConn Carroll Senior Editorial Writer
Follow on Twitter:

Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215.

The United States to shift its military role in Afghanistan from combat to training during the second half of 2013, Defense
Secretary Leon Panetta said on Wednesday.
"Hopefully by the mid-to-latter part of 2013, we'll be able to make a transition from a combat role to a train and advise and
assist role".

"I actually think that is going to make economic sense, but for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus's teaching that
'for unto whom much is given, much shall be required.'"

-- President Obama, quoted by Politico, using the Bible to justify his proposal to raise taxes on the wealthy.
