The timing of these events certainly raises some questions.  Why would an individual choose to incur a $106K loss only 7 days after
purchasing the property (as reported by Cicero)?  Further, if the reassessment was done immediately after the purchase at the lower
price, there is a question about what prompted the action.  To my understanding, properties revals that result solely from a title
conveyence are illegal ("welcome neighbor assessment").

I'm sure that there are details that we don't know or understand.

So how does one find out the details? Cause it don't look too kosher on paper as it stands right now!
This appears to be a well thought out, planned event. imho
A win/win for the friends and family club..........no?

Would LOVE to read DV explaining the "facts" about this one, he wouldn't even know a property tax vs an income tax, he pays neither

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

So, has anyone investigated the property tax assessment records to determine the timing of the reductions?

Has our "Hometown" newspaper investigated to determine if there was any impropriety?  Not likely ...

Hey, imbecile.

180 Erie Boulevard is located in the City of Schenectady.
The City of Schenectady is governed by the Democrat Party.
The City Assessor is an employee of the City of Schenectady.
Santabarbara is a Democrat.

Surprising that someone with a law degree can be so ignorant!
Can you connect the dots?

The assessment reduction just by chance happens to coincide with his party flip flop. This was not political it just so happened. The property sits right in the middle of Death Ray's high dreck corridor. You can smell the renaissance from here.

Death Ray promised many out of State high tech companies would be moving to Erie Blvd. That was 5 years ago-so far one moved out to State St with a taxpayer give away. Tumbleweed be rolling down Erie. No sale of the County "offices" at the empty Trustco HQ. Screw the County taxpayers-Death Ray knows what he is doing? Olender is boarding up across the street. But this is a positive according to the Metrograft bozos. A bigger footprint to implode and take off the City tax rolls.
