Upper middle class? lol. Oh yeah, they are lining up to buy property near Proctor's. So they can walk to the matinees and put their kids in the City schools. Anyone listening to the comments at City Council realizes that the sheeple have finally awoken. Attacks on Metrograft, Banker Karen Ha-Ha's appointment, OSM "coverage", the lack of ANY retail Downtown, horrid condition of the streets and sidewalks. But don't fret City taxpayers. Acting McCarthy and his rubber stamps have more taxes and fees planned. That should turn things around-from terrible to pathetic.
Schenectady leaders are so similar to the bottom feeders who abuse the welfare system - both mistakenly believe that they are entitled to use the taxpayers money without accountability. A complete audit of the welfare system needs to happen and for those people who illegally receive money or services they are not entitled to, they should be sent to jail. These people are taking away from those who truly need help and are stealing taxpayer money.
The City also needs to end taking the taxpayers money to fund pet projects rather than helping the neighborhoods which are in complete states of chaos. Metroplex and the City Council have proven that they are unable to bring jobs or decent businesses to the City. Schenectady taxpayersknow you have failed and no matter what McCarthy tries to do to win in November will be in vain.

Peeps from The Bronx opening a mailbox in stunad Schenectady County where no one ever does a home inspection. Too busy opening new cases from The Bronx. When was the last welfare fraud case in this County?
All the DEMS care about is the friends and family club and feathering their own nests. Cousin Vinny DeSarbo was a classic case. This is what I've been saying for years. Our leaders are too busy playing urban planners (a job for which they have zero qualifications) and trying to establish some new fancy areas for people to live in, ignoring the fact that we have plenty of people willing to live here if the crime and taxes weren't so bad. I suppose too many people make money off of the poverty industry (rehab centers, slumlords,not-for-profits, etc.) for any politician to stand up to it. Not-for-profits pay some people some juicy salaries, at taxpayer expense.
