President Obama called Mitt Romney just before noon to congratulate him on securing the Republican presidential nomination after he won the Texas GOP primary on Tuesday. Romney’s victory, coming after his leading challengers withdrew or suspended their campaigns over the past several weeks, gave him at least 88 more delegates, putting him over the 1,144 he needed to clinch the nomination.
I wonder if Ron Paul called to congratulate Romney on his victory?

I'm pretty sure Paul knows delegates aren't selected until mid June at the state convention. Let's not let reality get in the way of the desired perceptions.

Romney is the Republican nominee --- it doesn't matter what fantasy world Ron Paul and his tiny group of supporters live in --- ROMNEY WON ... PAUL LOST ... GET OVER IT.
Now, it is time to unite behind the best candidate for President and that candidate is Mitt Romney.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
Romney pushed for individual mandate in Massachusetts health care law, emails show
According to the emails, Romney personally drafted a Wall Street Journal op-ed that defended the individual mandate. Romney's draft, slightly different from the final version that was published, insisted taxpayers ultimately foot the bill when the uninsured seek health care—an argument that has been echoed by the White House in defending Obama's bill.
"Either the individual pays or the taxpayers pay. A free ride on government is not libertarian," the published op-ed said.
But according to a draft obtained by the Journal, Romney went one step further, arguing, "An uninsured libertarian might counter that he could refuse the free care, but under law, that is impossible—and inhumane."

Big Whoop-Dee-Doo. It's a state issue, and the state could legally do it. The Federal Government shouldn't be doing it. He did it at (what they deemed to be) the right right level of government. Personally, I don't know if I would support or be against it if NY or Schenectady County, or Rotterdam enforced the same type of thing, but it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL for the Federal Government to do so, but not against any other laws for other levels to.
