According to a Chan. 6 News report at 6PM on Weds. Kings Road will now be put on a priority paving list.   The Mayor was on the tube and stated as such.   The implication in the report was that the admin. caved to the groups usage of "slow down" signs dottng the lawns of the various homes.   The group also had 2 visits to the Council in the past year.   Sounds like a good idea with the signs.   Possibly we can buy them in bulk to distribute to those streets affected.

We had to go down Kings Rd yesterday. Has anyone else noticed how the manhole's are about 6" below the newly paved surface? They are now 'created potholes'! You have to swerve into traffic to avoid them or slow down to a snail's pace until the oncoming lane of traffic is free! Folks in the neighborhood said that when the trucks go over them....it shakes their homes!!

I saw all the manholes from union street down at Predels this summer.  The didn't look old.  Didn't know they "wore out".
