I've lost a LOT of respect for Breitbart because of this stunt.  I think his "news" days are over.

why?

He never posted it to his website. He was also being threatened. the dems were trying to tell the girls to 'lie' about mr. weiner's weiner.  they were trying to discredit breibart.

all that aside..............if weiner didn't stick his weiner out, we wouldn't be having this conversation. HE is the one that should lose all respect!!
DON'T KILL THE MESSANGER! imho

I had no respect for Oscar Meyer in the first place - so that leaves him out.

As for Breitbart, there was NO reason to show them to gawker "pals" other than "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" - or worse, "heheh - wanna see what I got?" 5 year old mentality.  Releasing those photos was uncalled for - he knew damn well what gawker would do with them, it was like a childish stunt designed for publicity.

I've had a lot of respect for Breitbart till this incident, now he's lost all credibility with me.

He chose to release these pictures, how can he ever be told anything in confidence again?

Do you HONESTLY believe that the folks that sent him this pics wanted him to keep it 'confidential'??

Come on you are smarter than that!

Sorry..........the responsiblility falls squarely on weiner's weiner!! The guys an exhibitionist for God's sake!

Where is Taxin Tonko on this Weinergate scandal? Usually he's all over the media demanding accountability. But only against REPS. No one even answering at his City Hall "office".

Sounds like  your ethical standards.  You were put in a position of trust- that you violated in pretty short order- very cheezy at the absolute least and  making yourself  a certified hypocrite - Some people just don't really seem to know when to shut up- ( now might be a good time  to think about it  )

Where is Senator Gillenbrand on the Weinergate scandal? Silent-hiding in the tall grasses. She was one of the first to demand Rep Lee's removal for taking off his shirt, not pants, when twittering. The hypocrisy on the left is unbelievable. Weiner's a pig but he's a DEM pig who supported Obamacare-so he gets a pass.

Quoted Text
Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) will resign from his seat in Congress, heeding calls from President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and dozens of other congressional Democrats, sources confirm to POLITICO. The resignation ends nearly three weeks of tumultuous political controversy since the New York congressman sent a lewd picture of himself over Twitter which he claimed at first was a result of a hack, and later admitted he had sent himself.

Weiner is expected to make his resignation official at an event at 2 pm, though it wasn’t immediately clear where.
