Right GG let's support these DEM "planners" that bought the Trustco HQ for top dollar and let it rot. Gillen's Gulch looks mighty fine. Retail? What retail? Kohl's goes in Amsterdam not Schenectady County. Take a stroll below Erie Blvd. and tells us about "progress". Another body, another pit bull attack, another building collapses. But don't blame the DEMS who have imploded the City. That's too mean, partisan and honest.

A golden oldie. The same guy that's building condos I mean apartments on lower Union? But can't run a 17 room Hotel. Another only in Schenectady taxpayer ripoff. Even with never ending tax exemptions these DEM morons can't stay in the black. Make it DSS housing and get it over with. The DEM implosion continues at warp speed.

VanDyke, Cornells, Parker Inn. All bankrupt-failed Plex projects which the taxpayers are funding over and over again for them to fail over and over again.

That $300,000 'investment' amount.....smells like Metroplex is involved. And the lease details are not available. That's TOTALLY a plex move!

How much did Gillen bribe this guy to take over a bankrupt project?

You KNOW there had to be a sweet deal!!! That is the ONLY way these businesses are coming to SCUMnectady! Ever since the METROPLEX/GILLEN took over the so called Economic Development in SCUMnectady.......residential taxes have risen historically and the homes have historically de-valued!! They must be using that 'fuzzy math' specifically for the auditors! And of course we won't mention the historically increased blight and crime!!

Now make this connection people.

DEMOCRATS STEAL FROM THE HOMEOWNERS to bail this guy out from major financial loss

DEMOCRATS STEAL FROM THE HOMEOWNERS -- Stratton gave Parker Inn a partial tax exemption

As the tax exemption time is going to end, DEMOCRATS STEAL FROM THE HOMEOWNERS by directing the assessment board to give the guy a whopping 60% reduction in assessment----a loss of revenue that must be made up by collecting more taxes (yep, another tax increase) from the homeowners

DEMOCRATS WILL CONTINUE TO STEAL FROM THE HOMEOWNERS by not increasing the assessment after the work is done.

MARK MY WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!  I will GUARANTEE that the assessment will NOT be increased!!!!!!!!!!   If I remember, I will check the roll each and every year and post the EVIDENCE that his assessment does not go up.

Or, the place will go belly up and the taxpayers will be on the hook for the money!!!!!!!

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

A Prime Cos. unit will renovate and operate 17 rooms in the Parker Inn as corporate apartments, says Chris Myers, owner of the hotel in Schenectady.

With the non-disclosure of who are the operators/owners of the bar at 308 Union St. that received PLEX $$$, anything is possible, with a policy in place that will not ID names of a partially funded PLEX project.
