But what is Barry going to do about it?? Teleprompters don't stop bullets.

"Barry" should hold up the commitments this country has made to our ally (specifically the 2004 documents - AND his campaign speech .. and stand WITH Israel, rather than turning our backs on them and let them be destroyed.

What is he GOING to do?  Whatever the puppetmasters (Soros, etc) tell him to do.

Jimmy Carter ended the wars between Egypt and Israel, and that agreement has held to this day.
Jimmy didn't use a teleprompter... he used words.
Jimmy's deal didn't threaten the "very existence" of Israel... it helped keep Israel safe.
Egypt stopped sending it's sons to fight in Israel, and both countries benefited.

There are those in Israel (and in the United States) who want this war to continue forever. It's a cash cow that keeps on giving, as long as young Palestinian and young Israeli boys continue to kill each other, their wealth will continue to grow.

I wonder how long their hostilities would last if there were no $$$US dollars to be made by it.

Wars? the last one was in 1973. When you (Egypt) keep getting your a** kicked, I guess its time to come to the bargaining table. Sadat paid for that agreement with his life, however. If you think an agreement between governments kept young Egyptian boys from joining the flight, I have a bridge to sell you.

The Palestinian situation does not fuel global Islamic terrorism, it is the presence of the US in the middle east, from oil companies to armies that does.

Why They Hate US, in their own words:
Osama bin Laden    March 29, 1997:

"We declared jihad against the US government, because the US government is unjust, criminal and tyrannical. It has committed acts that are extremely unjust, hideous and criminal whether directly or through its support of the Israeli occupation of the Prophet's Night Travel Land (Palestine). And we believe the US is directly responsible for those who were killed in Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq."

Nov 3, 2001:
"How can the weak mothers in Palestine endure the killing of their children in front of their eyes by the unjust Jewish executioners with US support and with US aircraft and tanks? Israel and US 'are one': Those who distinguish between America and Israel are the real enemies of the nation."

While Tbird thinks that "The Palestinian situation does not fuel global Islamic terrorism", the (now diseased) head of Global Terrorism thinks that it does.

Bin Laden was a salesman first, and linking the Palestinian cause was the way to get new recruits and promote Islamic unity. But his main beef was not the Palestinian issue, but the Wests intrusion into the Holy land of Saudi Arabia. That's what fueled HIM.

Take a look
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/new.....ns-life-history.html

He was NOT actively involved in the Palestinian cause

This is not our war, but this dispute is what fuels the Terrorist issue around the globe.  It is in the United States vital interest to find a solution to this problem if possible.

Terrorists want total power and the complete destruction of infidels ( ALL non-Muslims). There's a Muslim saying first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people. After they eliminate Israel-we're next.

This is what the appeasers never understand. Neville Chamberlain didn't and Barack Obama doesn't. Obama needs to stay out of this. Israel can handle the situation without his "help". First Obama throws Mubarak under the bus now this. He should mop up Libya and Syria-then worry about Iran's interference in Lebanon and South America.

This is another example of not minding our own business as a country. Let the middle east solve their own problems. EVERY conflict that happens in this world stems from the middle east. And has for decades upon decades.

This is not a battle over land given or taken by 'man'. Both muslims as well as jews believe God gave them this land that they are and have been fighting over..........according to their religious beliefs. They both believe that they are fighting for 'their God given land'. So no man, president, country or government is going to resolve this issue. They need to resolve this themselves. imho

Obamba is mad. He has proved to be mad.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Neither country would be viable. You want to establish a Palestine? Do it in Jordan. That would make sense and give both countries needed breathing room. Israel will not permit this stupidity. If they were smart they would take back Sinai and attack Iran. While they have the muscle.

Obama laid an egg. He is a foreign policy laughing stock. The whole speech proved a profound ignorance of history, of the region, of God given rights. Arabs want democracy, they want freedom of speech/assembly, they want the removal of their unelected horrible corrupt regimes.

It doesn't matter if obama is mad or not.

This fight over land is a religious issue between jews and muslims. Always has been and always will. It is NOT a government issue like they are trying to make it.

Benny if Israel could handle the problem equitably why haven't they?  The land they have offered to the Paslestinians is land that is not contiguous and the land is not viable.  Israel has been an ally and certainly a democracy but they also only want peace on their terms.  "Peace Now and Land for Peace"  both failed though they came out of the many years of negotiations.  Live like a Palestinian for a few days Benny and then respond.  Let J Street work the problem out.  They seem to be the  only organization who gets the problem and can see a lasting peace.  Netanyahu is a bit of a terrorist all by himself...only out done by Sharon.

Netanyahu is an american educated man who will NOT back down from anything. I wouldn't go so far as calling him a terrorist. But he will NOT back down from giving up land that the jews believe were given to them by their God. Same for the Palestinians.

It doesn't matter who lives like what.............it is a religious belief on both sides.

No the Obama plan is not contiguous. The Gaza Strip is not viable especially since it is unconnected to the West Bank. Jordan is the only solution. Palestinians are not interested in peace and only want to blow things up. Especially their own kids. J Street is a bunch of liberal lunatics supported by Soros. They have no support in Israel or with the Jewish community.

The fact is that Obama stepped in it. He reversed 60 years of American policy dating to Truman with one idiotic speech. In the end it changes nothing and only makes him more of a joke. Israel will not listen and should not listen.

Agreed, many don't want to say it or believe it but with them in constant conflict there is money to be made. While I don't think this is the main issue between the conflict this being part of it doesn't help it at all.

You could say the same thing about Hamas...or any advocacy group.. Once the goal is accomplished, they are no longer needed.  Money and power, it pretty much boils down to that.
