I think its absolutely amazing what Steve Tommasone, Gerard Parisi and John Mertz did to the Rotterdam Republican Party. That is the talk of the town NOT Peter Guiderelli and George Amedore. Steve, the spinelesss jelly fish blew it by not standing up to those two ego maniacs. The difference is the Dems reign in their problem children, a show of real leadership, the GOP turn a blind eye.
Brian McGarry is another spineless jellyfish or not???
Aurelia wasn't a very strong candidate to begin with. In dealings with her, this should really come as no major surprise. Rotterdamians won't be losing much here. And again, I believe she is related to ND. Cousin? Not that it's a big surprise for rotterdam!
..........so moving forward.......

What's funny is the people that destroyed the town REP trying to blame PG. You had your shot and couldn't win dog catcher. There are plenty of solid REP/real CONS business people ready to run for County or Town office. Hearing many great names. There will be a full slate of electable alternatives to the DEM working together morons.

That's rotterdam for ya!!!!!! And they wonder why they are the laughing stock!!!
I think PG started the iraq war too!!
Betcha PG didn't know he had such power, huh?
Ya just can't make this stuff up!!!
Again.......Lazarri was no great loss in rotterdam!! She was clearly NOT the plum line for rotterdam reps!

I have heard a few new names mentioned for various seats. The names I have heard are not retread politicians but citizens from various walks of life. It will be interesting to see what happens when they run!

Then it will as stale as Perecca's week old bread. Let the spinning begin-HERE. I heard at the Bagel shoppe that a famous radio personality is thinking about running. I have another new hottie............
The bagel shop??? I heard it in Price Chopper!! And other folks have heard it from the folks 'in the know'.
Nah.....I say let the gazette spin it.
This is basically 'old news'. The gazette is just needs to catch up.

ROTTERDAM Aurelia Lazzari ends candidacy for Town Board BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter Reach Gazette reporter Justin Mason at 395-3113 or jmason@dailygazette.net.
Donovan said the Schenectady County Republican Committee will now decide on a candidate to run in Lazzari’s place during its meeting next month. She said the county’s choice will then be brought before the town committee, which will ratify the decision through a caucus. Candidates interested in the vacancy include former board member Stan Marchinkowski, Mark Viscusi and Jim Villano. Viscusi is not related to Mike Viscusi, who is running for the board on the Democratic ticket. Donovan said all three candidates are also being considered for two seats coming up for election on the Schenectady County Legislature. The town committee previously suggested Wade Abbott and Nicola DiLeva for the seats. “We’re trying to get this moving along as quick as possible,” Donovan said. ....................>>>>....................>>>>..................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01203&AppName=1
