You just can't address things item by item.  

Tell us SB, for roughly $25 a month we have good trash pick up in the town.  That's about how much per year?   How about the trash FEE PLUS the trash TAX in the city.

FOr a house assessed as much as ours in town, if we lived in the city we'd pay almost twice as much.   In town we pay under $200 every other year to have the septic pumped.  In the city we'd pay about $300 PER YEAR.   We pay a $25 water fee in town.  IN the city we'd pay about $300 per year.  Oh yeah, and city fees are NOT tax deductible.

For roughly half the tax we get good snow plowing, all cars off the street to facilitate plowing and most of the time this winter the roads were plowed twice by 7 in the morning.  In the city, cars illegally parked -- even on emergency strets -- are ignored by the city, not even so much as a ticket, the streets are poorly plowed, even streets on the way to the hospital.

In the town we have many grocery stores in which to shop, we can buy virtually everything we want or need.   Tell me where even ONE department store is in the city.  Tell us how much choice you have for grocery shopping in the city.  

Tell us when children have been shot in town on playgrounds or even in their own homes.  How about the number of murders, stabbings, and shootings in the towns within the county, can you provide us the statistics, the news stories of when they took place, etc.

Tell us how long houses sit unsold in the city compares to the surrounding towns.

Tell us what the vacancy rate/abandoned houses are in the towns (be sure to provide proof)
