But "LOCAL" businesses are ones within a 75 mile radius.
Actually -- the definition of "local business" and "local producers" of foods and other products that I use is within 100 miles --- and that comes from several groups that are encouraging people to buy foods grown and products produced CLOSER to home .... So i will buy a candle produced by a small businessperson within 100 miles -- and that IS local for me. I will not buy a candle sold by a store in town but made thousands of miles away ... and basically if you don't like it .. that is your problem |

There is no hidden cameras or microphones they are all in the open and it is the best thing FDG has done he finally realizes we are in the tech world. There should be camera's in all the buildings like all the other municipalities and GPS in all the Town vehicles especially the Highway Dept. like the county has and it works believe it or not the employees don't mind it at all because they are doing their job. The employees that do not like the cameras are the employees that are guilty because they do not do their job and they want to continue not doing their job and get paid. Tax payers love the camera's !!! Employees get over it and just do your job and soon the time clocks will come!!! Then you will see the tax payers loving that even more!! |

That's because he accomplished more by the age of 35 than you will ever accomplish in your lifetime. He owns and runs a successful business and has already held elected office. One of which you desire, the other, I'm not so sure of. Running a business might be too much like work. |

I did not mention a specific store by name .. YOU did ... and I don't care if Joe's store were next door to my house .. the way he treated my aunts when he came campaigning to our door was unnecessary .. and I would never do business with him .. PERIOD END OF STORY. |

yeah .. that is what I say to the imbeciles who try to tell me who I should and should not do business with .. i won't do business with a person who insults me or my family --- i will support businesses that treat me and my family with respect ... i couldn't care less about the political persuasion of the business-owner .. my favorite restaurant in the world is run by the family of the former state GOP chairman of a neighboring state ... i think Mr. Amedore builds great homes even though I don't always agree with him politically ... I could go on and on. The fact is that my family DID patronize a certain bald-headed politician's business for many years UNTIL he chose to insult my family members on our door step when he was campaigning for reelection .. he lost a vote and any chance of ever having our business again .... he could donate a million dollars to charity and that would not change things. |
