An investigator for the Schenectady County Public Defender’s Office has been arrested, accused of injuring a longtime girlfriend and refusing to let her leave the house overnight, authorities said. The attorney for the investigator, however, says his client is not guilty of the charges and disputes what is alleged. Mark Ruddiman, 57, of Steers Avenue, faces one count each of third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation. Ruddiman is accused of throwing a jewelry box at the woman, injuring her foot Saturday evening at his home, according to papers filed in court. He also allegedly threatened her. Ruddiman is also accused of preventing her from leaving the home overnight, blocking the entrances, taking car keys and going so far as to sleep on top of her so she couldn’t leave during the night. In the morning, at about 8:41 a.m., Ruddiman allegedly broke a bedroom phone when she tried to contact police, according to papers. Papers do not indicate how she left or how police were ultimately contacted. But his arrest was recorded at 8:58 a.m. Sunday. ......................................>>>>..............................>>>>..............................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01300&AppName=1
Dictatorships attract certain types to their ranks.
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
