Just wondering after all this, if all our troops are coming home, we pulled out of Iraq, we're closing out of Afghanistan, then why do we see ourselves shooting into Libya, and if we're not at war with Pakistan, why did we have armed forces inside their country without a declaration of war?  And since we now have troops there, how long until THEY will be brought home?

Exactly Kevin.

The reason we were told our troops went into Afghanistan was to get Bin Laden. Ok we got him, the troops should come home now.
The reason we were told we went into Iraq was for WMD-we found none, bring our troops home.
The reason we were told we went into Libya was for humanitarian reasons-but then an assassination attempt on Ghadaffi-which is against all law in the US-the president or congress can only order an assassination on a foreign leader IF our country is in imminent danger of attack.

No..No...No Rpforpres, these are the same people that were screaming about funding two wars during this "economic crisis" then silent when Obama starts a 3rd in Libya.  They are the same people that were against "regime change" or getting involved in other countries civil wars.  These are the same people that favored extending Constitutional rights to terrorist captured in the battlefield.  The left wingers have miraculously changed their stripes. They are now FOR getting involved in Libya's civil war, spending billions of dollars arming unknown rebels in a country that has no strategic interest to the U.S. during this economic crisis.  They have stood by silent while an attempted assassination took place against the leader of a recognized state.  The ultimate is, they are now in favor of executing captured terrorists that were captured in a sovereign nation and calling it JUSTICE.

Yes these are the same people, believe it or not.  Bush's foreign policy in the hands of a Democrat is now necessary steps to protect the country.  How convenient.

BTW...I think Bush sucked too...He started us down the road of taking away our liberties and Obama is continuing it and taking away more.

Obama's talking heads can't get the story straight. First he was armed-then he wasn't. First he used a wife as a human shield-then he didn't. Then they wonder why the world questions him. His new press secretary is more of a bumbling idiot than the Moo U Gibbs who spoke at Union. It was a kill mission and a smashing success. Leave it there. Every time they start tap dancing they fall on their faces.

Quoted from 612
Cicero give it up.  Bush was a total failure.  His waterboarding did NOT get the information needed.  It is amazing to me just how daft Republicans are.  Delusional is more like it.  Obama has handled this situation amazingly.  He has shown himself to be presidential--no "wanted dead or alive" nonsense from him.  No smirks that W is known for.  No miscalculation of this mission.  This President has been outstanding.  Get over it.  Even Cheney applauded the President.  Waterboarding was not the key.  The information came out later with other sources to corroborate the info from the detainees.  NOT WATERBOARDING.

I cant believe we worry about waterboarding.....there's folks getting stabbed or shot everyday in our neighborhoods and we talk about how
bad waterboarding done BY ALL governments/countries that want the upper hand on anything, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT SOVEREIGNTY IS and that
IS WAR....AND....IT SUCKS....
