It may not be Cooperstown, but the Congressional Quarterly Roll Call Baseball Hall of Fame has announced that long-time Texas Congressman and famed libertarian Ron Paul is being inducted as a member. That’s right; Ron Paul (not Paul Molitor). For seven years in the 1970s and 1980s, Paul played for the Republican congressional team, racking up a solid .294 batting average. In 1979 Paul hit the first ever out-of-the park home run in a congressional game. His career total of one home run ties the number of audits there has been of the Federal Reserve since it was established in 1913, which was also accomplished by Paul since he sponsored the legislation that made it happen.

CONGRATULATIONS RON PAUL and to all of his loyal informed, educated, independent thinking supporters who support freedom and liberty and the constitution!!!!!!!

Oh, those old uniforms.  I know of Ron Paul, but not his district.  Does he represent the Houston area?  I would assume so, if he's wearing one of those old 80's-style Astro's uniforms.

RON PAUL: OBAMACARE AN “UNCONSTITUTIONAL MONSTROSITY”
(Ron Paul Restore America Now)
http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2012/03/26/ron-paul-obamacare-an-unconstitutional-monstrosity/

It appears that once again,  Ron Paul was WRONG (even one of the most Conservative Supreme Court Chief
Justices, John Roberts declares Obamacare to be CONSTITUTIONAL.)

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

These are neo-con statist, not Constitutional conservatives.  Let's see how the federal government(Rep and Dem) responds to the constitutional act of nullification by states.

This is by no means settled.  There will be more to come IMO.

I agree... the Party of NO will not give up their "plan" for American Health Care.
The Republican Plan???

The statist leftist that love to talk about a women's right to choose don't allow the choice of 'going somewhere to die'. If you try to go somewhere to die without paying into Obamacare, they will hunt you down like a dog and get their money.  BECAUSE THEY CARE!

I pay for my health insurance coverage... I've paid for it since my first job.  I still have good coverage, but
many Americans haven't been so lucky.  A self employed person with a family pays an exorbitant fee, for
crummy coverage... that will change under ObamaCare.
A young adult who graduates college with out a job, also had no health care... that changed under
Obamacare.
If you had a preexisting condition you could be denied coverage... even if you wanted to pay a higher
rate... the insurance company could just deny you coverage.  That changed under Obamacare.
Insurance costs have been increasing for my whole lifetime... that will continue, but at a much slower rate
under Obamacare.

Who gains under ObamaCare?  America.
Who loses under Obama Care?  Rich Republicans.
I'll side with America.

You never addressed the person that doesn't want to pay for health insurance and instead would rather save the money and pass it along to a loved one after he/she "goes somewhere and dies"?  The Federal Government will hunt him like a dog to make sure he/she pays into the system that he/she chooses not to use.  That is how we know the left's phony obsession of "choice" is purely political and not principled.  The lefties like box, LOVE to limit choice using government force.

Lets discuss the person who "doesn't want to pay for health insurance".  He takes his optional health care
dollars from his corporation and buys a jet ski for the summer, and goes on vacation in Aspen in the winter.

On one of these trips he's seriously injured... He's unconscious, and brought to the closest ER by helicopter
Life Flight.  He's in the ER, then in intensive care for a month... then spends 5 months in a hospital room until
he recovers.
He has no health insurance, so who pays for this fun lovin Dead Beat.  YOU AND I PAY.  We have no choice.
It's the law.  I'd just as soon dump him in the nearest landfill, but instead THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER pays for
this REPUBLICAN ENDORSED DEAD BEAT who had the money, and had the company provided health
insurance, but declined so that he could enjoy the lake and the slopes.

That is your plan Cicero.  Don't tell me that it shouldn't be that way because until that changes, that is
your plan.   Fund the Republican Plan Dead Beat with our tax dollars.

So now we all get to pay for all the slugs that don't want to work and down the road some of us will lose our current health-care coverage that was bargained for and placed in a government selected plan which I'm positive isn't as good as the plan I have now.

How about this, everybody put their $10,000 per year medical premium on 00 on the roulette wheel, the odds on hitting are 35 to 1, and if you hit you will win $350,000 to cover the medical costs in Box's one in a million jet ski and snow ski accident scenario.  Much wiser bet than being forced to give your money to the government and the insurance industry.
