This is part of Ron Paul's Restore America agenda
Translated from Republican into English:
Screw you... I got mine, you're on your own. No SS, No Obama Care... ~If you're elderly, and Wall Street took your life savings... GO LIVE WITH YOUR KIDS! ~If you happen to get sick... use "The Republican Plan" (The Republican Plan? Just go some where and die... preferably somewhere away from me... I don't want to hear about it)

When Warren Buffett stated that HE PAYS TOO LITTLE IN INCOME TAX... much less than his secretary... The Rabid Right Response was: "Let Warren donate his millions to the government then" (with an accompanying Smug Smile).
Now Ron Paul says he wants to end Social Security (putting half of elderly Americans into poverty) So Ron... just like Warren... Should put his money where his mouth is... "RON PAUL (if he really believes his propaganda) SHOULD NOT COLLECT HIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK." (Just one more case of Righties "Do as I say, Not as I do)
Who would vote for a guy who says that a program is "UNCONSTITUTIONAL", then suck up to that same "UNCONSTITUTIONAL" program for a check?
What's good for Buffett should be good for Paul.
That's your argument? That's ridiculous! Paul was FORCED by government to pay into a ponzi scheme and Buffett is willfully investing his moeny for profits. How about this, Paul and the rest of the retirees pay capital gains tax on the profits from the forced social security investment. Oh yeah, like Paul said, he currently contributes more into the system than he receives from 57 years of investing into it. The return on investment is a poverty income.
What's your next suggestion Box, Bernie Madoff's investors should let Bernie keep the money because they didn't know they were investing in a ponzi scheme and since they oppose ponzi schemes, it would be unprincipled to collect the money they were promised.
We are FORCED to pay it................we better get SOMETHING back in return!!!!
they took our damn hard working money and squandered it for years and years!!! Applied it to other things other than ss!! Without our approval!!! So now due to the government's shameful attempt at handling OUR money......this young generation is saddled with paying for the highest number of ss recipients in history....the BABY BOOMER!!!
There are none greedier than the government!!!!! NONE!!!!

EVERYONE who can afford to 'cash pay' TAKES THEIR BENEFITS....
it's called 'using your benefits'.....funny....
i really don't care...but if there is a limit to what one puts in, then there should be a limit as to what one takes out....and it SHOULD BE VERY CUT AND DRY........
lump sum payouts......not some confusing/vig making crooked machine.......
withholding information from the plebs helps keep power in blue bloods hands......(regardless of race)
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
people have what they have because they have what they have....
but lack of information by leaders, or obfuscation by leaders is EVIL.....
wake up folks....regardless of party there IS NO SOCIAL SECURITY.......STUPID IDEA
Wake up folks... vote for Ron Paul! P L E A S E!

Had an interesting conversation with some dem/liberal friends of mine. YES....I do have great dem friends!!
They all voted for obama in 08. They did have the 'hope' that he would 'change' and turn this country around for the better. They are disappointed to say the least. And although they also realize that some of these problems were inherited, they believed that obama knew what he was getting himself into and what he was up against if elected.
Yet these friends of ours feel that they were betrayed by obama and his campaign rhetoric. That they believe that if in fact he knew what he was up against....he would have know that it was impossible to turn this country around but never told the american citizens the truth.
They will not vote for obama in this next election....will clearly not vote for romney.....but will in fact vote/write-in Ron Paul. They view Paul as the only honest candidate out there that has a sound vision and direction for america. They also acknowledge that paul is honest enough to say that it will take time to undue all of the damage the past and present administrations have caused.
They have listened, made comparisons and support Paul's message and ideology!
Funny but they all said........'romney and obama?? Is that the best they got?'

YUP! Ron Paul all the way!!! Anyone but the 'Romulan'! I don't want any of this board to change their mind on the way in the voting booth and vote Republican.

With Ron Paul effectively out of the 2012 presidential race, the ragtag coalition that propelled his dark-horse campaign is already showing signs of unraveling.
In the wake of the realization that Paul does not have enough delegates to win the Republican nomination, his supporters have split on a variety of issues, exposing latent fault lines between the diverse factions of libertarian-leaning, small-government-loving voters who had pinned their political hopes on Ron Paul.
The divisions have become increasingly apparent as Paul and his supporters plan for their last hurrah at the Republican National Convention in Tampa this August. Ron Paul activists are planning competing festivals for the three days leading up to the convention, while the candidate himself has broken with the grassroots and opted to host his own rally.
Quoted Text
“The movement has a life of it’s own,” a source close to the Paul campaign told Business Insider. “But the rally will for sure suppress turnout for the other events.”
Still, Ron Paul’s snub is a blow to the grassroots, exposing what is perhaps the most salient split in the Movement — the growing divide between the Paul political operation and the rebel army of the Ron Paul Revolution.

People who believe in individualism and liberty not conforming...What a surprise!
I'm pretty sure they all in agreement on their right not to conform...Especially conforming through government force.
You mean 'conforming through 'media force'!!!

It may not be Cooperstown, but the Congressional Quarterly Roll Call Baseball Hall of Fame has announced that long-time Texas Congressman and famed libertarian Ron Paul is being inducted as a member. That’s right; Ron Paul (not Paul Molitor). For seven years in the 1970s and 1980s, Paul played for the Republican congressional team, racking up a solid .294 batting average. In 1979 Paul hit the first ever out-of-the park home run in a congressional game. His career total of one home run ties the number of audits there has been of the Federal Reserve since it was established in 1913, which was also accomplished by Paul since he sponsored the legislation that made it happen.
