Henry and Bumble seem to believe in the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy"... as the reason that Ron Paul will not be the Republican nominee.
I think it's Conservative money and Conservative voters who'd rather vote for Romney than vote for Ron Paul.

Again we have proof of voter fraud, Maine was one instance where not only the numbers were switched around to favor Romney but then totally erased after being called out on it, who knows how many states or caucuses were rigged the same way. I posted a few cases where people who are on Romney's payroll came to the conventions and tried to change slates and have non-delegates vote, the one caucus the whole damn box of votes went missing never to be found

I do even though many don't like the idea. However back in 08 we knew we would have to do some things which weren't pretty to get people in office. Even today we have stealth delegates who did nothing different than what Rand Paul is doing now, Rand knows we are not voting for Romney, he is not telling us to. This movement doesn't end with Ron Paul, it must continue on into the future and Rand playing nicy nice now could help us in the future. Whatever happens with this election don't let it get you down, peaceful revolutions take time

A Political Dynasty!!! Kind of like the Kennedy Dynasty. Only the Kennedys were successful at getting elected.

I don't buy it. If Rand is anything like his Dad and believes in ending the Fed. smaller government etc there is no way he should have or would have endorsed Romney. As we know Romney/Obama the same.
If Rand has come out and said he only endorses his Dad, then he would have a chance in 2016.
Rand has lost alot of support since the endorsement.
It's the next generation that seems to be paul's main supporters! They are young, passionate and educated!! It will be up to them to continue the cause since they have done such a great job thus far. They just need to be prepared to be totally silenced by the lame stream media and those who chose to continue with the political corruptness.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
Establishment Republicans and the main stream media are having a difficult time understanding why Ron Paul supporters aren’t just falling into line behind Mitt Romney. Don’t we want the GOP to win? And don’t we want our own candidate to win the nomination someday? And if so, don’t we realize that we have to be loyal to the nominee this time?
Of course, these are the same establishment Republicans who are hiring off duty policemen to arrest and detain our duly elected county chairmen, or locking the registered rolls of delegates in the trunks of their cars so that the convention cannot have a roll call vote and they can claim “Ayes have it,” when the “Ayes” don’t have anything.
And this is the mainstream media that gave Ron Paul 89 seconds of an hour long televised debate. And who in another debate, gave their anchor almost as much time as Dr. Paul, the presidential candidate. And who ignore videotaped state conventions where delegates have their bones broken for more compelling news stories elsewhere.
We see the train headed toward a canyon and the bridge is out. There is going to be a great crash. And meanwhile, we are being urged to change the engineer. “Obama is driving this train 100 mph!” we are told by hand wringing, hysterical, establishment Republicans. “We need to get Romney in there. He will slow it down to 95.”
Some are quite energized by this contest. They think that the future of the Republic is at stake. “Can’t you see that?” They ask imploringly. “Don’t you care?”
But we only laugh. Yes, Romney will spend less than Obama but he will not reduce spending by a single cent. The circulation of money will be increased to pay the deficit and the poor and middle class will suffer from devalued money.
Obama? Romney? So what? This train is still headed toward the canyon and the bridge is out. This train needs to be stopped, not slowed. And the bridge needs to be repaired.

Ron Paul backers seek influence at GOP convention By THOMAS BEAUMONT | Associated Press – 1 hr 48 mins ago Email
DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Ron Paul has given up on becoming president, but loyal supporters are promising to promote the libertarian-leaning Texas congressman's principles at the Republican national convention this summer, a potential complication for Mitt Romney's goal of a peaceful coronation. Paul backers have taken over state Republican conventions Nevada and Maine, and were aiming to do the same this weekend in Iowa, aiming to increase their voice and clout at the nominating convention in Tampa, Fla. "We want to send Ron Paul-inspired folks to that convention to show we're not going away," says Iowa Republican David Fischer, a top Paul backer in the state. Supporters say they hope to promote Paul's conservative principles, which have attracted a strong following of young voters and tea party activists, by flooding ballots for the convention and urging changes to the party platform. Since Paul's unsuccessful 2008 candidacy for the GOP nomination, his top organizers have set about working within the party's structure to gain influence. The hope is to bend it toward principles he espouses, chiefly smaller government, sound monetary policy and a limited international military presence. Paul stopped campaigning last month after netting only 137 of the 1,144 delegates needed to clinch the nomination. His son, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., a national tea party figure, has endorsed Romney. Paul's impossible odds didn't discourage activists from seizing 32 of the 40 national delegates last month at Minnesota's GOP convention. In Maine, 21-year-old Ron Paul supporter Ashley Ryan was elected the state's new Republican national committeewoman, a testament to what supporters see as new blood the Paul campaign has attracted to the GOP. That's in addition to taking top roles in state party organizations, in states such as Iowa, and inspiring statehouse candidates around the country. For instance, A.J. Spiker, who ran Paul's campaign for Iowa's leadoff nominating caucuses, was elected state GOP chairman in February. Louisiana GOP officials and Paul supporters tangled during a raucous June 2 convention that devolved into two separate conventions and separate delegate slates. Two Paul backers were arrested after they refused to leave. Paul's idled candidacy wasn't expected to slow the hunt for as many of the 25 delegate slots on the ballot at Saturday's Iowa GOP convention in Des Moines. Paul's following argues that the campaign has always been about more than electing a president. "It's never been about a man. It's about liberty, and turning the tide," said Marianne Stebbins, Paul's Minnesota state director. She was elected a national delegate on May 18. Although Romney seldom attacked Paul during the primary campaign, Paul supporters remain cool to him. Many consider Romney part of the GOP establishment's complicity in the soaring federal debt, another top concern for Paul. Paul may speak at the national convention, as it's become customary for onetime rivals to take the podium to show unity. But supporters have faced some resistance to their plans to hold a three-day Paul rally on the eve of the convention. Supporters of Paul, who has called for the dissolution of the Federal Reserve Bank, expect to propose that the party support less contentious planks such as greater transparency for the central bank and increased Internet freedom. There's likely to be sharp debate over their efforts to repeal the Patriot Act, a measure enacted to hunt for terrorists in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks that Paul argues abridges civil liberties. Likewise, his opposition to torture could lead to a fight over harsh interrogation tactics.
