"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
Interesting!!! It proves that Ron Paul has a great email list of active supporters, that would take the time to vote in a non-scientific poll.

Yup very active supporters, that is what it will take to get the votes. Although polls are everywhere, I can find polls that can say pretty much anything for any candidate out there. I still remember quite well during the last election Rudy Ghouliani was supposedly the Republican to beat

Ron Paul... The First Amendment only applies to "Christians"!
From last nights GOP debate: JOHN KING: Congressman Paul, does faith have a role in these public issues, the public square, or is it a personal issue in your home and in your church?
RON PAUL: I think faith has something to do with the character of the people who represent us and law should have a moral fiber too and our leaders should. We shouldn't expect, uh, us to try to change morality. You can't teach people how to be moral. But the Constitution addresses this by saying literally it says no theocracy but it doesn't talk about church and state. The most important thing is the First Amendment -- that Congress shall write no laws -- which means Congress should never prohibit the expression of your Christian faith in a public place.
(Hey Ron... Your religious bias is showing again. What about the Jews, Muslims, Buddhists etc Americans? )

Box, I think that you would give him more credit than that. Maybe he was getting a little heated at the time, I don't know. I didn't get to see the debate, but I'm sure he believes that it applies to all religions. Tell me any time where the government has stood to try to take away the rights of any specific religion except for the Christians. And believe it or not, the Constitution was written, mainly, by Christians, and after they had fought for freedom from Great Britain and the freedoms that brought, including the freedom of religion.

You do know he was 1 of only a handful who fought for the right for those muslims to build the so called ground zero mosque, nice try box

Yup Henry, I do know that Paul stood up in favor of the Ground Zero mosque... and I applaud him for it. Words have meaning... words send messages... some intended, others accidental. Was Paul courting the Religious Right who are not happy with Paul's WTC Mosque position? Possibly. Maybe not. Either way, as US President, 'accidentally' excluding 70% of the population of the world is a good way to cause hard feelings.

This is why you should never trust who they say won the debate, many in the MSM are saying Romney or Bachmann took the debate but the audience at the debate made it clear who they supported and who made the most sense.

The real winner will be determined when the GOP Primary vote is counted... the applause meter is a poor judge of national response, (so are reporters opinions). Had the CNN Debate hall been packed with Bachmann teabaggers, would you give the debate to Bachmann???

Once again Roxy....
Who the hell cares about 70% of the world population??? We are only concerned about our population...and people like you are a big reason we should be worried about America you communist nut job

The real judge of national response is listening to the pundits on cabal news TELL the people who won the debate, then you conduct a pubic opinion poll to see if the opinions of the pundits changed public opinion to reflect the pundits views, then use the poll numbers to reinforce the pundits opinions.
It's a pretty simple formula. Cabal News will tell the public who the Republican candidate will be. Just like the cabal news mantra that it's a "weak" field of Republcian canddiates. Says who? Of course - cabal news tells what is "weak" and what is "strong".

Gadfly ate a big bowl of grumpy flakes this morning for breakfast.
Around 65% of OUR American population are Christian. The rest are made up of Unaffiliated, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, or other. Unfortunately for people like you, weather you like it or not, America has to deal with the 70% of the world that you don't care about. Wars, trade, communication, transportation... etc.
You should try some relaxation techniques in the morning to relieve your aggression. Yoga, meditation... or maybe ya just ought to get laid once in a while and you'll probably feel much less hostility when you wake up and turn on your computer.

I will always be hostile toward communists who believe we should give a crap about the rest of the world and include their opinions in determining our policies at HOME...here in the USA.
You specifically referred to the WORLD population in your comments...and the majority of OUR population is in fact Christian, "weather" you like it or not you homonym challenged idiot....and OUR Constitution, YOUR greatest enemy, is based on CHRISTIAN principles.

HUH. Christian principals say that there is only one true god... Jesus Christ. NO other religion is valid. But our Constitution says... all religions are equal. No one takes preference. If the US Constitution were based on Christian Principals, then how do you explain the First Amendment that guarantees freedom of ALL religions in a Christian only document.
As all Americans know, the founding fathers were mostly Christian. So Christian thinking would undoubtedly influence their document. But The fact that they specifically don't mention God, or Christians and go out of their way to guarantee that no one religion is promoted by the US Government, shows that they meant to insure that the USA to be a multi religious country, with freedom of religion one of our founding values.
