Ron Paul beats Obama in the new Rasmussen poll 44 to 43, Romney ties Obama. I don't give much to polls but for those who do there ya go.

Ron Paul isn't running against Obama... he's running for the GOP nomination against Romney.

There's maybe 6-12 people in that video aside from staffers, etc.

That's not a huge show of support.

He, like Santorum, have done nothing but take votes away from the nearly guaranteed candidate.  I'm not a big fan of Romney, but instead of jockying for position as a potential veep contender, it's time to unite the party.

There is no party to unite!!
Disgruntled dems and reps alike, are looking for that one candidate who can turn this country back around to it's roots.......THE CONSTITUTION!! Someone who is not part of the same corrupt/failing system. None fill the bill except Paul.

Sadly...the sheople that believe everything that falls out of the lame stream media.....will get everything they deserve!! If the lame stream media 'selected' Paul....he WOULD beat obama...hands down.

It is really a sad state of affairs when the lame stream media gets to pick who will not only be the next rep nominee...but also the next president. And why? Cause the dumbed down sheople fall for it every single time!!

The truth of the matter is...........Paul's supporters ...... THEY GET IT!!!

This is about delegates, Romney has only half the delegates needed to to secure the nomination and if he doesn't get the numbers needed the delegates all become unbound and get to vote for whoever they choose, this is where Paul supporters have been putting their efforts and doing very well I might add. Don't buy into the BS the Romney has it already secured because he doesn't, he is far from it actually. As Bumble said there is no party to unite, nobody likes Romney and there is no enthusiasm to back him, most people think that he is the GOP's best shot but as everybody knows he doesn't stand a chance against Obama and many republicans I chat with are already declaring defeat.

You are correct..........IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DELEGATES!!
Could it be remotely possible that the lame stream media is losing their political influence???

RP is polliNg at the same numbers that he started with...
Could it be that RP is not that appealing to most Americans?

Could be...

Of all the other Republican candidates, Paul raised more money than all of them except Romney.  All those "college kids", or "Paulites" as people call them, must have a lot of money.  After all, Santorum was getting 30-40% of the vote and "winning" many states, and he is out of the race and his campaign is in debt. Gingrich won South Carolina(supposedly a HUGE indicator) and he is still in the race polling below Paul, and his campaign is BROKE.

Maybe the polling conducted by the MSM is bullshit.  The old saying goes - money talks and bullshit walks.  Ron Paul is still running ads, holding rallies for THOUSANDS of supporters, and is flush with cash...How can that be with such little support?  Why are all the "popular" candidates out of the race and broke?

There is one candidate in the race... Romney.  All others are fading except for RP.  Paul still has the same
support he started with.  9 - 13%.

'R P Campaign funds become ‘a family affair’
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul used campaign funds to pay salaries and fees to more members of his own family than any other lawmaker in the House, according to a recently released report, handing
over more than $300,000 during the 2008 and 2010 election cycles.
