As someone who voted for President Obama in 2008, I have become more intrigued by the campaign by Texas Rep. Ron Paul. However, it wasn’t until the Jan. 26 debate that I realized Paul has the right message and momentum to beat Obama. The moment occurred during Paul’s summation speech. When asked by the CNN moderator why he was the one man who could beat President Obama, Paul calmly explained that his message of fi - nancial freedom appeals to conservatives and his message of freedom of liberties appeals to liberals. Both messages strongly resonate with independents, who will determine this election. The pundits have been framing Paul’s message and bloviate a laundry list of reasons why he is unelectable. Once he is given the chance to express his Libertarian views, unfiltered by the media, his appeal is undeniable. If you haven’t seen Paul, I urge you to check him out without relying on Bill O’Reilly’s or Chris Matthews’ dismissal of him as a serious candidate.
I had a guy knock on my window when I was at a red light a couple weeks ago (must of seen my Ron Paul 2012 decal ), so I rolled the window down and he made some remark about Ron Paul being like Hitler or some crap. I gotta feel sorry for these media brainwashed idiots

Paul is being taken as seriously as most fringe candidates... Paul is getting much more press time than the other two fringe candidates in this election... Buddy Roemer & Gary Johnson. None of the three have any chance of being elected, yet demand "equal time" in the media.

Ron Paul, interviewed by CNN, on the likelihood of him dropping out of the GOP presidential race.
The same could be said of the chances of Paul winning the Presidency.
