Paul Says He is NOT Running for President!

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

New Yorks TeaBagger In Chief, Carl Paladino on the GOP Field:

“As we narrow the candidates there’s Newt because all the rest of them are toast,” Paladino said.
“Ron Paul’s going to get on the mother-ship and go back to the mother planet. You got Huntsman, he’s going to go live in
China. Perry wants a job, he’s going to go the shooting range and hang around there awhile.
I mean this is nonsense — it’s all bullshit.”

Paladino is backing the Newt...   Figures!

Carl Paladino is a TeaBagger in a Post TeaBagger world.  Republicans wouldn't even vote for him in his Governor's
election disaster.  His endorsement is irrelevant.

Poll: Romney, Paul Tie Obama
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, run neck-and-neck with President Obama in a general-election matchup, according to a new CBS News poll released late on Monday that shows the two front-runners in Tuesday's New Hampshire GOP primary running stronger against the president than their fellow Republicans.

Romney posts a two-point lead over Obama, 47 percent to 45 percent, within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points. He leads Obama, 45 percent to 39 percent, among independent voters.

Obama's lead over Paul is just one point, 46 percent to 45 percent, as Paul leads among independents by 7 points.

The president posts more significant leads over the other GOP candidates, but against each he is below the critical 50-percent threshold: He leads former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, 49 percent to 41 percent; former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, 48 percent to 41 percent; Texas Gov. Rick Perry, 49 percent to 42 percent; and former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., 47 percent to 43 percent.

If elected president, Texas congressman Ron Paul would be 77 years old by the 2013 date of inauguration,
which would make Ron Paul the oldest person ever to be elected president of the United States, almost
7 years older than Ronald Reagan was at his inauguration... (and we all remember how that turned out.)
Reagan spent most of  the last two years of his presidency with Alzheimer.

not everyone gets alzheimers....and working in geriatrics I have known many centurions who were still working at 80......they were a plethera of knowledge AND insight.....they had roots but were wise enough to know time beats them
and everything keeps moving when they are gone....

hell, why dont we just elect the Jersey Shore idiots or anyone who uses stupid tag lines and slogans to 'capture' America's spirit......right now Obama is too old and stale.....not fast enough to keep up with the xbox generation.....

I guess the 45% that would vote for Paul instead of the much younger Obama aren't too concerned.

A group of veterans and active duty soldiers are set to march to the White House in February to show their support for Ron Paul and to turn their backs on the current puppet in chief, Barack Obama.

The group, Veterans for Ron Paul 2012, was co founded by longtime Libertarian activist Adam Kokesh. A press release by Kokesh explains the groups plans:

On President’s Day, February 20th, 2012, the founders of Veterans for Ron Paul 2012, Nathan Cox and Adam Kokesh, will lead a formation of veterans and active duty troops who support Ron Paul’s candidacy for President of the United States from the Washington Monument to the White House. Upon arrival at the White House, they will do an about face to turn their backs on the President, and render a hand salute to a folded American flag surrounded by family members of military personnel and veterans. They will hold the salute for as many seconds as troops have died under the Presidency of Barrack Obama.

The purpose of this event is to make it clear to the American people that Ron Paul is the choice of the troops and the candidate who will have the greatest support from those he would lead as commander-in-chief. This is already evidence by the fact that Ron Paul has recieved more campaign contributions from active duty service members than all other presidential candidates combined, INCLUDING Barrack Obama.
