From Today's Huffington Post:

Quoted Text
The Dallas Morning News -- May 22, 1996.

Dr. Paul denied suggestions that he was a racist and said he was not evoking stereotypes when he wrote the
columns. He said they should be read and quoted in their entirety to avoid misrepresentation.
Dr. Paul also took exception to the comments of Mr. Bledsoe, saying that the voters in the 14th District and the
people who know him best would be the final judges of his character.
"If someone challenges your character and takes the interpretation of the NAACP as proof of a man's character,
what kind of a world do you live in?" Dr. Paul asked.
In the interview, he did not deny he made the statement about the swiftness of black men.
"If you try to catch someone that has stolen a purse from you, there is no chance to catch them," Dr. Paul said.

It's not rocket science here folks........If you are satisfied with the way washington has been run and continues to run for the last few decades......don't vote for ron  paul.

The dems and reps...past and present are hi-fiving each other all the way to the bank!! It's hard to imagine that there are folks who actually think differently and accept the rhetorical bullsh!t as truth!!!

Paul Disowns Extremists’ Views but Doesn’t Disavow the Support

~ The American Free Press, which markets books like “The Invention of the Jewish People” and “March of the
Titans: A History of the White Race,” is urging its subscribers to help it send hundreds of copies of Ron Paul’s
collected speeches to voters in New Hampshire. The book, it promises, will “Help Dr. Ron Paul Win the G.O.P.
Nomination in 2012!”

~Don Black, director of the white nationalist Web site Stormfront, said in an interview that several dozen of his
members were volunteering for Mr. Paul’s presidential campaign, and a site forum titled “Why is Ron Paul such
a favorite here?” has no fewer than 24 pages of comments. “I understand he wins many fans because his
monetary policy would hurt Jews,” read one.

~Far-right groups like the Militia of Montana say they are rooting for Mr. Paul as a stalwart against government tyranny.

Ron Paul wants to feed at the Right Wing Extremist trough, and expects not get covered with Extremist slop.

The white supremacists, survivalists and anti-Zionists who have rallied behind Paul's candidacy have not exactly
been warmly welcomed. “I wouldn’t be happy with that,” Mr. Paul said in an interview Friday when asked about
getting help from volunteers with anti-Jewish or antiblack views.
But he did not disavow their support. “If they want to endorse me, they’re endorsing what I do or say — it has
nothing to do with endorsing what they say,” said Mr. Paul, who is now running strong in Iowa for the Republican
nomination.

Oh yeahhhh....The establishment is pushing every extremist button button they can find.  THEY ARE SOUNDING THE ALARMS!!!!

Paul, the libertarian, is now going to be characterized as anti EVERYTING because the views some of his supporters hold and also agree with his limited government and more liberty positions.  In today's America, or the statist America, you MUST CONFORM to the elitists' definitions of acceptable and unacceptable. Paul isn't acceptable to the statist because Paul doesn't use his position to assert pressure onto people that do not agree with him 100% of the time and force them to comply to his definition of an acceptable social norm.

Hey, Joe Rogan supports Paul, does Paul need to disavow Joe Rogan?

They are really ramping up the propaganda.

Ron Paul... a Homophobe?
(This story comes not from some liberal news outlet, but instead from RIGHT WING NEWS!)

In 1988, Ron had a hardcore Libertarian supporter, Jim Peron, Owner of Laissez Faire Books in San Francisco. Jim set up
a magnificent 3-day campaign swing for us in the SF Bay Area. Jim was what you would call very openly Gay. But Ron
thought the world of him. For 3 days we had a great time trouncing from one campaign event to another with Jim’s Gay
lover. The atmosphere was simply jovial between the four of us. (As an aside we also met former Cong. Pete McCloskey
during this campaign trip.) We used Jim’s home/office as a “base.” Ron pulled me aside the first time we went there,
and specifically instructed me to find an excuse to excuse him to a local fast food restaurant so that he could use the
bathroom. He told me very clearly, that although he liked Jim, he did not wish to use his bathroom facilities. I chided
him a bit, but he sternly reacted, as he often did to me, Eric, just do what I say. Perhaps “sternly” is an understatement.
Ron looked at me directly, and with a very angry look in his eye, and shouted under his breath: “Just do what I say NOW.”

The second incident involved one or two other staffers many years later at the BBQ in Surfside Beach. I was not in direct
presence of the incident. But another top staffer, and I believe one of our secretaries, was witnessed to it. This top
staffer adores Ron, but was extremely insulted by his behavior, I would even say flabbergasted to the point of
considering resigning from his staff over it.

“Bobby,” a well-known and rather flamboyant and well-liked gay man in Freeport came to the BBQ. Let me stress
Ron likes Bobby personally, and Bobby was a hardcore campaign supporter. But after his speech, at the Surfside
pavilion Bobby came up to Ron with his hand extended, and according to my fellow staffer, Ron literally swatted his
hand away.

Again, let me stress. I would not categorize that as “homo-phobic,” but rather just unsettled by being around gays
personally... ( which is a definition of a homophobe)

I'm not boo hooing...I'm EXCITED!!!  They won't even TOUCH him on the issues.  The establishment is looking to prevent him from picking up anymore momentem by scaring people, so they moved from the newsletter story on to organizations that support him.

Paul is a threat, this was expected.  We can expect more cleverly edited videos to distort his words by removing context in efforts to take him down like the CNN interview.

Now disgruntled staffers looking to capitalize on his popularity.  Let me guess, he will write a book like the former Palin staffer.  Great stories box.

Gingrich melted down...
Bachmann melted down...
and now it appears what I thought wouldn't happen...
Ron Paul Melts Down.

From "The Moderate Voice":
Quoted Text
"By not definitively repudiating newsletters that went out under his name that had racism or political Twilight
Zone-ish ideas to the media’s satisfaction, Rep. Ron Paulz has let the newsletters and his critics define him.
Fair enough, but Paul’s problem is that this will damage his imagery no matter what the truth is about the
newsletters. It hurts him during a year when he seems poised to become a major contender in a GOP primary.
To many, the newsletter issue will make him a non-option."

Cartoonists are already having a field day:

Luckly the "moderates" have magazine telling them who they will choose.

Romney leads, Paul rises in N.H. poll

.......But as the race hurtles toward the Jan. 10 primary, Paul has been gaining the most in New Hampshire. His support has risen by 5 percentage points since November, while Huntsman has picked up 3 percentage points in the last month and Gingrich has gained 2.

The momentum for Paul raises the prospect that he, not Gingrich, could emerge as the strongest early challenger to Romney if the Texas congressman can hold on to his lead in Iowa and capture second place in New Hampshire.

Andrew E. Smith, director of the Survey Center, attributed Romney’s enduring strength in New Hampshire to an electorate that is largely composed of moderate Republicans and independents, not party activists, evangelicals, and core conservatives who wield more influence in Iowa, South Carolina, and Florida.
