People don't trust or believe the government/media institutions that sat by while running the country into the ground.

As if Cic speaks for the "People!"

The Bush Administration, The TeaBaggers and wussy Democrats ran this country into the ground.
There actually are good Republicans and Democrats who should have put a stop to the Conservative push to
dismantle the USA.  Their lack of action was as bad as the actions of the Right Wing Fanatics.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Where was the media in reporting this?  Why weren't they warning the people about our governments actions?  They promoted it for their masters in government.  They helped drive this country off a cliff.  That is why their criticism of Paul isn't really resonating.

Ron Paul cries like a baby when the Main Stream Media ignore him.... then when the Main Stream Media start to actually
run Ron Paul stories, Ron Paul (and his supporters) cry like a baby... "Who cares what political analysts say."

because him (and the rest of us I hope) know the soul of the media......when they dont pay attention it is a slight....when they do pay attention they 'dress it up' to their own taste buds offering
side dishes that dont match the main course......

THEY LIE/TELL HALF TRUTHS AND STILL GET THEIR PAYCHECK FROM THOSE ABOVE.........

are we going to remain ignorant on this?

For the Religious followers of Ron Paul, criticism has no effect... neither do facts.  The faithful believe in Ron Paul like a little
kid believes in Santa!

Raw footage shows Ron Paul DIDN'T storm out of CNN interview over racist newsletters... the interview was simply done

By Meghan Keneally

Last updated at 8:15 PM on 24th December 2011

Reports that Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul stormed out of a CNN interview earlier this week seem to be dramatically over-exaggerated.

Raw footage of the Thursday interview shows that it lasted nearly ten minutes, which is not unusually brief on the campaign trail.

After discussing foreign policy, the payroll tax, negative advertisements, and super fund PACs, the interview concluded with three whole minutes of discussion on the issue of the incendiary racist and homophobic letters that were published in Mr Paul's name in the Eighties and Nineties.

Example above is why people are tuning out what pundits and media talking heads opinions of Ron Paul, or anything else they say for that matter.  The major media outlets have been disqualified by a growing number of Americans.  Slanted and bias media attacks by the mainstream media like the example above is why a growing number of Americans are gravitating toward Paul.  The people I talk to have an eery sense that the elitist running the two party and state media have been propagandizing the American people to maintain and expand their power and wealth at the expense of the average American citizen.

The good news is...There has been an awakening.

Ron Paul taking credit for his "newsletter"... "I put that out on a monthly basis..."

Quite the stretch Box...He never denied the Newsletter.  He disavowed the racy language used by one of the ghost writers.  He took responsibility for not paying close attention to all the content published.

"One of the ghost writers"... Which one?  Which racist writer did Ron Paul authorize to use his name in a newsletter?
Inquiring minds want to know!

Does this mysterious "ghost writer" have a name?  I'm sure Ron Paul wouldn't just give a blanket authority for just
any writer to "ghost write" for a newsletter attributed to Ron Paul...

What is the name of this Ghost Writer???
My guess?  His initials are RON PAUL!

Andrew Sullivan  on the Ron Paul Newsletters:

I think it's perfectly possible, rather than 'nonsense', that Paul used these newsletters as fundraising tools without
full oversight. But it is not nothing. A fringe protest candidate need not fully address issues two decades ago that
do not in any way reflect the campaign he has run or the issues on which he has made an appeal. But a man who
could win the Iowa caucuses and is now third in national polls has to have a plausible answer for this. It's what
happens when you hit the big leagues.

Obama did it with Jeremiah Wright, openly grappling with the past toxic
association, owning it, explaining it. Paul has not had the wherewithal or presence of mind to do that. Indeed,
he has not even named the association, the first step to disowning it. And unlike Obama with Wright, Paul got
money from these newsletters.

It seems to me that even though I don't believe these old screeds reflect Paul's own beliefs, his new level of
prominence demands a new level of accountablity, even on issues this old. If Paul did not write these newsletters,
then he has an obligation to say if he knew who did, or conduct an investigation. He has had years to do this,
and hasn't. And here's what you've persuaded me of in the last few days: a person who has that kind of
bigotry directly printed under his name without a clear empirical explanation of why he is innocent cannot be
an honorable president of the United States.

The hatred of groups of people in those letters - however gussied up by shards of legitimate arguments - is
too deep and vile to be attached to a leader of the entire country. It is far too divisive. The appearance of things
matters; and until Paul explains why this appears so horrible, he cannot shrug off the burden of proof.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Some believe it was Lew Rockwell but it is hard to tie him to it for sure.
