Ron Paul gets huffy at a CNN question and runs away.
Paul has been evading his past for years.  He hopes that questions about his racist newsletters will just go away.

Yawn, actually this was debunked years ago and cleared up during the last election.

Here is Paul from 2008

LMAO!  Paul claims the comments are "POLITICAL"!
PAUL IS A POLITICIAN... RUNNING FOR A "POLITICAL" OFFICE...
OF COURSE IT'S POLITICAL!

Paul claims that he gets reelected in Texas, as some sort of proof that he's not a racist.   Ever been to Texas?
A racist could get at least 30% of the vote in some parts of Texas just running on his racism.

Sure it is and I think it's open for fair game, although many wish to hide the fact that he didn't write the letters and has denounced the articles written. Paul admitted he should have paid attention to what was written under his name and he takes responsibility for it. Either way if this is the worst thing they could find on him he is in good shape.

Really???
It seems that the Ron Paul fanatics will ignore the facts if they disagree with the Ron Paul Agenda.
An example:
"16,500 ARMED BURICATS" a Ron Paul ... um... Untruth? ... a distortion of the facts?... OK, A Ron Paul LIE!

If this post is in response to my last post about "16,500 armed agents"there is no connection.

Of course there are armed IRS agents, some with shotguns I assume.
Of course there are many 'agents' working for the IRS but Paul's lie is that "they are hiring 16,500 MORE NEW
IRS Agents".
It's a lie.

Watch what Paul says... 16,500 armed agents (thugs) coming to put you in jail if you didn't follow all the rules.

They took the high end of the CBO range of $5 to $10 Billion.

The fact is, there will be THOUSANDS MORE ARMED IRS AGENTS MAKING SURE THEY GET THEIR MONEY.

Quoted Text
On March 18, 2010, the House Ways and Means Republicans released a report titled, "The Wrong Prescription: Democrats’ Health Overhaul Dangerously Expands IRS Authority." The report acknowledged that it is "impossible to know exactly how many new employees the IRS would have to hire to enforce the individual mandate and other provisions of the Democrats’ health care bill." Still, it uses IRS data and "reasonable assumptions about costs and program responsibilities" to suggest that as many as 16,500 additional "examiners, agents and other employees" could be needed.

The Ways and Means Republicans used the high end of CBO's cost estimate of $10 billion over 10 years.

The Ways and Means Republicans themselves acknowledge that the figure could be less than 16,500 new jobs. Factoring overhead -- rather than just salaries and benefits -- into the equation, the Republican staff said,  would reduce the number from 16,500 new employees to 11,800. This isn't just an outside critique: this is something stated explicitly in the Ways and Means Republicans' own report. And if one uses the $5 billion CBO estimate rather than the $10 billion CBO estimate, that number could shrink to 5,900 new jobs -- substantially below the 16,500 figure.

No, it wasn't a lie, it was the high end of a CBO estimation.  There WILL be more armed thugs working for the IRS as a result of the Obamacare bill.  And according to the CBO estimate, it might be 16,500 more agents.  There is no predicting how many people will have to be FORCED to pay in because they are incompliant.  That is why it is an estimate. THAT IS NOT A LIE!!  The IRS will spend $5 to $10 BILLION for IRS enforcement as a result of the Obamacare bill.  Those are not lies, they are FACTS.  You may not like the fact he estimated the HIGH END of the CBO estimate, but it is a far cry from a lie.

There seems to be a flaw in every Ron Paul groupie that eliminates any possibility that their GOD... Ron Paul, could
possibly make a mistake, an error, a uninformed guess.

So the world according to Cicero and his God Ron Paul, will absolutely have 16,500 NEW ARMED AGENTS (thugs), WHO
WILL PUT YOU IN JAIL IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THE RULES.

Amazing

Where did the word "absolutely" come from?  I love how you inject words that were never there.

This wasn't an uninformed guess, it was a high end estimate based on CBO estimate.  I even quoted your favorite reference site politifact, and they agreed it wasn't false because it was an ESTIMATE.

You seem to have trouble with Ron Paul alerting people to the fact that as a result of Obamacare,  there is going to be thousands of ADDITIONAL IRS agents running around America to extort money from people that do not purchase a product the federal government mandate you purchase.

I guess if Paul said 'As many as' 16,500 IRS agents will be added as a result of Obamacare, it would have been 100% true.
