Gotta love how the one guy keeps saying you would go left of Obama on foreign policy like it's a bad thing, Obama spread our military presence in the Middle East. It's scary how twisted the other candidates are when it comes to Iran, Santorum tried to make the case that all Iranians wanted to die for jihad and they hate us because we are free Yeah I'm sure overthrowing their elected government 58 years ago and installing a dictator had nothing to do with their hatred towards us. I bet they just enjoyed us arming and funding their enemy Iraq when they invaded them unprovoked in the 80's, they must really love us for just recently sending in a military aircraft over their country, but no they hate us because of our freedoms |

"They hate us because of our freedoms" LOL! It's amazing how this phrase works in the Conservative mind. It's simple... It's easy to remember... It fits many applications... Not too complicated for a weak mind to remember... and unfortunately, it will get Conservative votes. |

The neocons have officially awakened to the Ron Paul tsunami. Rush Limbaugh aired one of his goofy commercials mocking Ron Paul. Sean Hannity after the debate treated him with contempt. This will further propel Ron Paul's numbers upward now that he is being attacked by the conservative talk show hosts increasing his name recognition. Ron Paul is redefining the Republican Party, and redefining what have been the neocons accepted definition. He is exposing the two party system of statism. He is either going to redefine the Republican Party to represent an actual limited constitutional federal government, rule of law, states rights. OR, he will help create a national 3rd party |

Man, I watched the debate last night and I am thoroughly impressed with Ron Paul. I think his statements regarding Iran are dead on. Somewhat off topic, but in NY do you have to be a registered republican to vote in the republican primary? |

Yes you do and if you wish to switch parties I believe you would have to act fairly quickly as there is a deadline. |

Now, it’s still very unlikely that Ron Paul will become president. But, as I said, his economic doctrine has, in effect, become the official G.O.P. line, despite having been proved utterly wrong by events. And what will happen if that doctrine actually ends up being put into action? Great Depression, here we come. Paul Krugman on Ron Paul & The GOP Monetary Madness NY Times http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/16/opinion/gop-monetary-madness.html?_r=2&ref=opinion |

LMAO! NO FEAR? The Republicans led us into this mess, then refused to help solve the problems of their disaster... but somehow if Paul is elected president (and pigs can fly) the entire congress will work as one to support the Paul agenda. (science fiction) |
