Again, you assume that only WITH the passage of such a law people have these jobs.  You believe that only by social engineering and legislation can equality be attained.  A Black, Hispanic, Asian, Catholic, Protestant, Jew or any other race or religion does not have to wait on me, sell me their service, sell me a product, or give there property to me for ANY reason they want.  It is not my property, it is theirs.  It was the government legislation forcing business to have race specific seating or race specific bathroom fixtures that were illegal and an infringement on people’s civil liberties.  It was the government that was forcing businesses to segregate.  Me not selling my product or services to a person for whatever reason isn't a civil liberties violation.  Forcing me by law to sell my private property to a person is actually a violation of MY civil liberties.

But in the liberal mind, up is down and down is up.

If you don't like those rules, go some where else where "all men are created equal" doesn't apply.

Looks like you are getting frustrated Box, I think all of us here believe all men are created equal, difference is you think stripping rights away from the people is the way to go to make an illusion of a racist free society. You have no understanding of what makes a free society or people, if you did the last thing you would support is stripping away property rights.

The warped mind of the liberal can't grasp the fact that Jim Crow Laws were unconstitutional and rightfully overturned, but the use of the interstate commerce clause was equally unconstitutional infringing on the individuals civil liberties by forcing people to trade their goods and services to even those they choose not to trade with.

Box's generation was drugged and indoctrinated, and the lack the ability to understand that private citizens cannot limit a persons liberties by refusing to sell them a sandwich at a deli.  It may be rude, but not an infringement on liberties.

I would like to think Box's irrationality is due to temporary intoxication, but his consistent stream of twisted logic leads me to believe he is on a more permanent regiment anti-depressants and anti-phsycotics.  It's clinical.

Property Rights??? The Right to own property??? NO.
The Right to sell your property? Nope.
The Right to keep your property??? No again.

The only purpose of Paul's so called "Property Rights" is to continue discrimination and racism.

This bogus issue has nothing to do with property... it concerns refusing to serve customers based on race or religion.  The law already establishes a right to refuse disruptive customers, drunk customers, improperly attired customers... so it doesn't address that issue.  Paul's Property Rights apply to Bigots... no one else.

Even if it did just apply to bigots which it doesn't, are you saying bigots shouldn't have the same rights as the rest of us? If I don't want someone in my house because I don't like their skin color guess what Box that is my right. It is also my right to refuse to sell any product to anyone I don't want to regardless of reason. You just wish to force your beliefs onto the rest of us and it happened through a unconstitutional law,end of story.

A liberal falling back on the racism and bigot argument.  What a surprise.

What is "disruptive"?
What is "improperly attired"?

Fact is, if you kick a minority out of you business based on Box's "established" rights of business owners, don't be shocked if you get a strongly worded letter with attorney letterhead accusing you of discrimination.

Box, I'd love to see you kick a minority out of your place of business based on improper attire because his pants were synched below his @ss and his underwear was showing.

When my daughter went to Sch'dy High School she walked into the library at the end of the school day to return some books. There was a club of black and latino students conducting a meeting. Remarks were made to my daughter that were not nice telling the 'white girl" to get out, and thats putting it mildly.  My daughter was shocked as being brought up on the hill everyone is equal  to her.  I explained to her that there are cases where she would not be welcome or feel welcome, that most people no matter what race, religion or beliefs will experience  this  in their lifetime.

I didn't call the school in an outrage, because it was the black/latino club and my daughter is neither. It was and is their right to have a meeting.

It was just a few students who were rude. Would've been nice if someone had just explained it to her but shi* happens.

Well we will see just how Beck and Hannity, tea party promoters, handle this presidential election. If they are REAL tea partiers, they should be supporting and promoting Ron Paul. If they don't...........they are frauds! IMHO

And up to the present time, they are just giving air time to the potential rep candidates except for Paul. Time will tell!!

Henry your comments are a little surprising.

Why, because he believes a bigoted person is afforded the same rights as everybody else?  Al Sharpton is PRAISED when he marches outside of the shop of a white business owner, and threatens boycotts, and strong arms advertisers.  He was able to get Don Imus fired from CBS for saying "nappy headed ho", a phrase commonly used on rap albums by African American rappers.  Could you imagine if a white community leader organized a march in front of African American owned businesses like Dr. Dre's Death Row Records, and threatened advertisers because they didn't like the derogatory words used toward whites on the product he sells?  Or a white group organizing a boycott of FUBU clothing which stand for For Us By Us, which is a clothing line exclusively marketed to the African American community.  So it's ok for Al Sharpton to damage your business by organizing and threatening a boycott, but under the interstate commerce clause, that same shop owner couldn't refuse to sell his product to Al Sharpton and his followers - that would be racist.
