I was at the Schalmont awards ceremony and thought it was very distasteful that Mcgarry gave a campaign speech while presenting an award. Yeah it's great present the award and get attention say you are the candidate...that's fine all politicians do it. But to give a campaign speech? it's not your night...it's those kids' night and you made it about you.. that isn't right.....

He is obviously a moron.  I also heard him say he was endorsed by the entire gop committee which he knows is false.  So...I guess he is a moron and a liar.

This is what happens when activists and insane people run for office they do not understand which venues are proper for which behaviors. Sadly those graduating seniors had to suffer for it. Does anyone know if the Republican Committee made any donations to Mohonasen grads? Or does the Committee only benefit the other side of town?

I don't know who made what donations, but I do know that one of the individuals running for town board this November on the Republican ticket is a Mohonasen graduate.

This message was forwarded to me that was sent to all affected in the matter of Parisi v. Rotterdam Republican Committee...

Date: Mon, 06 Jun 2011 11:11:08 -0400
Subject: Parisi v Rotterdam Republican Town Committee

All:

As Mr. Parisi's Attorney, I  want to alert you that despite all of the slanderous comments made against my client by members of the Committee, and
by virtue of the Chair, by the Committee itself, ultimately, the Court ruled that Mr. Parisi was indeed correct. In an order and judgment by Supreme
Court Justice, Vincent J. Reilly, Jr., the Court invalidated the meeting and therefore invalidated each and every action purported to have been taken
at that meeting. This includes all endorsements! A copy of the decision is attached.

Mr. Parisi is owed a huge apology and you all should be thanking him--His tireless efforts on behalf of the residents of the Town is unprecedented.
Whether he is bringing a lawsuit against the Democratic Supervisor for holding an illegal meeting in order to give a golden parachute to a friend, or
whether it is ensuring that this Committee, to which he has dedicated much, follows the rules and protects the electoral process  from any impropriety,
one thing is clear: Mr. Parisi is there for the residents of this Town without regard to party affiliation.

When Mr. Parisi sees wrong, he fights to correct it, and for that this Committee owes him a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.

Yes, GP apparently was right!  So now that the nominating process is voided, are we to expect some "new" miracle slate of candidates that have risen since the suit was filed?  I'm dying to see who the candidate/candidates are that got jilted and now that "justice" has been done, will have the opportunity to come public.

Subject     Thank you!

As Mr. Parisi's Attorney, I wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to those of you who have supported Mr. Parisi during this time. You know who you are and without people like you, it would be much harder to ensure that the rules are followed.

With the core individuals that we have who believe in right over wrong, truth over falsehood, and justice over tyranny, we can rest easy knowing that the residents of the Town of Rotterdam will continue to be protected throughout the future.

Mr. Parisi looks forward to working with each of you in the future in order to ensure that Rotterdam remains not only a "nice place to live," but a "GREAT place to live!"

That cracks me up!  THIS sounds like a campaign mailer, lol.  GP is Charlie Sheen, not a "winner" but a "loser" and even the people who liked Charley have now written him off and look forward to the Ashton days to come.  You might have won a stupid challenge to a committee meeting, don't act like you "saved" someone, and in the end you only continue to reinforce what we have been saying about you all along.

Can't wait for GP to deny making certain demands if he didn't get what he wanted and that's what is behind this challenge, we'll see if he denies something that comes out having been taped or recorded.  Now THAT will be entertaining, can someone say train wreck?

The GOP in Rotterdam and in Schenectady County  -- like  two and a half men -- "jumped the shark"  several years back  ...  if   McGarry, KR and GP are their "best prospects" --- they might as well ride the next freight car out of town.
