I talked with 3 families this week who own property in schenectady. They are all trying to sell their homes and there are no bites. Their taxes would well exceed what a mortgage/insurance would be. There windows are being shot out and their cars are being broken into. They said that half the stuff that goes on doesn't even hit the newspaper!! And this wan't in Mt.Pleasant or Hamilton Hill or the VanVranken area.

These are just some of the folks that the gazette should be talking to.

The entire metroplex is a lie!! Not ONE of those businesses downtown would have ever made the decision to move there IF it weren't for their tax exempt/free money/low interest loans. Once the gravy train ends, they will all move out!! And the residents are footing the bill!
