I feel privileged to live in this country.  I am honored to follow the tradition of making this country the best it can be for ALL it's citizens.

Everyone doesn't want to "lower taxes"... that's the TeaParty mantra.  I would like everyone to pay their fair share of taxes, and much of the debt would go away.
GE= no taxes
Warren Buffet=lower tax rate than most American Tax Payers
Exxon=no taxes
US millionaires= minimal taxes.

If everyone paid what they paid in the 50's 60's 70's and 80's, there would be little debt and social programs would be funded.
Those with the most income often pay the least taxes... that IS the problem.

who/what determines fair?
who/what determines rich?
who/what determines poor?
who/what determines what a mental illness is?

I'm not trying to be obtuse....but where are the lines drawn in the sand? who is more equal than another? since when did a corporation become a
person? since when is PERSONAL INCOME TAX legal?

if there was no income tax everyone would have what they have because they have what they have.....and if you were hungry and came to my home
and asked for bread, I would see the whites of your eyes(the windows to the soul) and have a personal conversation/support and hand you some
bread and quite frankly probably more......THAT is what is American.....is life hard...you betcha...is it the government's responsibility
to make folks equal via $$ and other folks backs being strapped? NO..........

SS was never meant for a cushy retirement.....it's a supplement as is medicare/medicaid.......THEY ARE NOT FOUNDATIONS.....our personal
spirit/drive/sweat/blood etc are our foundation........I can reach down and pull you up...but you have to stand on your own 2 feet.....

let's not let the government usurp our minds and spirit......this is a great country...but the more we set up the government to make our choices
the more it becomes souless/mindless monster.....
