...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Yup...noticed that too!! I suspect this was to cover MORE THAN SIXTY EMPLOYEES RUNNING TWO AMBULANCES...a payroll that
immediately and rapidly started to swell as soon as they lost their volunteer status and went to a paid squad. Nice, huh???

The increase in revenue can be attributed largely if not entirely to the ALS collections....but they knew it was never theirs to keep
and the election would put them at risk of losing this sweet deal.

If the ALS money was the Town's money, would it be civil or criminal penalty?  I mean, there has to be a penalty for allowing taxpayer money to be collected by a private business based on a verbal agreement of 1 out of the 5 members of the board.  It should have been voted on, correct?  $445K is A LOT OF MONEY.

Who cares about the disgruntled town employees, this is the real concern.

I'm not sure yet...it could be both...but the non-existent contract required to collect those revenues
should have been accepted by a resolution of the Board.

the FEDS are shaking down nursing homes as we speak....dont think they wont 'hit' every household.....the system is a joke and REMS is just an
attempt at 'getting on the train' so to speak.....if they dont think they can dot all their 'i's and 't's then the town sure as hell shouldn't eat the
problem....it's a dirty dirty business and the government will beat you out like a rug and use you like a scapegoat all the while speaking out the
other side of it's mouth about standards/safety......they are gangsters.....and it would cost us dearly.....I've seen it from inside the socialist stomach

NO WAY.....

This entire REMS thing appears to be a possible law suit in the making. Perhaps going back years.

even IF the 'i's and 't's are dotted and crossed....what the government does is go back in time essentially 'wasting/papering' the company and/or
municipality to death by saying 'those regulations really weren't what we meant then, so hand over the money'.....so a company and/or municipality
can either fight(with wasted F'EN manpower) or just pay the 'fee' the gumba gangstas want......

so SAY NO TO A MUNICIPAL REMS.....it will cost when the elected folks in charge of the machines decide they aren't getting enough
