I'm 19, in my first year of college, and when I come back to Rotterdam this summer, I was going to look for a summer job. I would preferably prefer a job with the town like maybe the parks department, or something that is at least a day job/weekly so I could have some quality hours (unlike my last job at a movie theater) and make a good amount of money.  So my question is - who do I get in contact with to have a Summer job with the town?  If you could point me in the right direction, or maybe even share some knowledge as to where to go and what to do, it would be much appreciated.  Thank you for your time.

And don't forget that check for $99 to the democratic party, as they are in power,

Think bigger-call Lumpy Kosiur today. He is the summer job maven at the County Building. Make sure you have first registered as a DEM.

better yet
after your get the summer job
volunteer in the months of june and july to collect as many signatures as you can get  - the more the better

because the summer worker with the most signatures and friends

has a shot at a job paying $53K a year and you only have to come to one full 8 hr day every 1460 days

and

get great parking spots at any business for you and your friends - no more walking in the cold or hot and humid days ,  no more door dings on your new hummer/corvette

a hundred bucks a month in coffee or red bull money

hire upto 3 friends to work for you - note they most likely wont like you after this

access to doe tags as needed

have a park named after you

and if you are luck enough to stay out of trouble

you can collect a salary, SS, free health ins for life for you and your SO

so i'd start raking lawns to get the $99 check to DEM party ASAP and get starterd on that "Career"

Just call the town hall or use the information that 'mary magdeline' gave you and apply. It can't hurt and I hope you find something here. Good luck!!

If you're trying to make some "dough" - get a job at one of the town's many pizza places -  the administrations only hand out town jobs to relatives, as favors and to those politically "connected".

There is no need to make any contributions to any political party .. just  go down to Town Hall .. and get an application in the Supervisor's office.
