6 months for stealing 50,800, you call that doing time. There are people who have been in jail for years for stealing a lot less than that.

They probably bought it for one of the 99% people with our money.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Now that Schenectady is firmly under control of the most wasteful administration we've ever had city again residents should start carrying cameras in their vehicles while shopping/running errands and document some of the waste/fraud of taxpayer money. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words and looks a lot better on the evening news.

If the guy is guilty...then he clearly needs to pay for the crime.
However, roughing up and allegedly giving wrong medication is over the top in my book.
I believe that the jail folks have been in the hot seat before for 'wrong medication'.....yes?

The whole story hasn't come out yet. Officials have said that he was addicted to prescription drugs and was taking far too much pain killer. Prisoners can get unruly coming down off addiction hence the reason for roughing may have been necessary. Time will tell if giving wrong medication was the cause and that will be dealt with. Unless you've been exposed to what corrections officers are exposed to in the jails and correctional facilities you can't appreciate what those who work there experience each and everyday.

I agree............my cousin is a corrections officer!

It will be interesting to find out how they knew that Godlewski was addicted to pain meds and where his 'drug source' was from.

When coming down from pain killers....paranoia sets in....violence, suicidal tendencies, hostility and agression...

Sounds like he needed a fix ....not the wrong meds.....

only a comment and observation....

Everyone knew. Everyone looked the other way. He was in charge of the accuracy of every scale and gas pump in the COUNTY. Another total humiliation to these DEM incompetents.

How is a poor kid growing up someplace like Hamilton Hill or Mont Pleasant supposed to learn any values when all he sees around him are people who take whatever they want when they want to? If you don't punish those at the top, who have no real reason to take things, why bother with those at the bottom? Somebody needs to set an example.

of course I could say been there...but I won't...

There is a few that will try and run the Town....and it won't be HB...
