He was allowed to resign and never fired? Only in Schenectady County. DEM "leaders" are out saying this will never happen again. Like they always say after a fiscal scandal. A great County employee was fired to make room for this connected moron. Working together works!

SCHENECTADY — The lawyer for a former county agency head contends his client was hospitalized twice in five days and nearly died after the medical staff at the county jail gave him the wrong dose of a prescribed painkiller.
Defense attorney James Knox made that claim at Monday's sentencing for Christopher Todd Godlewski, who stole $50,800 in fines from businesses collected by the Department of Consumer Affairs/Bureau of Weights and Measures.
"He was barely conscious after the initial medication," Knox said.
Judge Karen Drago then called the attorneys for the defense and prosecution into chambers presumably to discuss the matter.
When the judge and counsel returned to open court, District Attorney Robert Carney said Godlewski's reaction to the medication was apparently withdrawal from the drug, according to what the district attorney was told by Undersheriff Gordon Pollard in a phone conversation Monday morning.
