Well it wasn't me so I 'm stuck in Sch'dy forever and ever.......

When I was at Stewarts yesterday the cashier asked it I was getting a megamillions ticket and I said no I'd never win. Just wondering if I'd bought a ticket. Naw Im not that lucky.

Just imagine the person with the ticket, if they even realize they have won because some don't check the numbers right away. Imagine finding out you won that much money.

Thats more money than Proctors has, I think. : )

I saw a proposal to tax millionaires to billionaires......which is funny....so gambling to collect $$ for the state leads to collecting more money....isn't that
a double tax or triple? or is it a fee.......I need to dig this up more.....

Announcement today is that it was a group of state workers who won.  At the same time, we have finally won, to a point, with an on-time budget, with a 2% spending cut.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The Mega Millions ticket has been claimed, and soon the $319 million check will be as well.

The New York Lottery will present the winner, or winners, during a check presentation at the lottery headquarters in Schenectady 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The winners have been confirmed by News 10 to be:

John Hilton, of North Greenbush
Gabrielle Mahar, of Colonie
John Kutey, of Green Island
Tracy Sussman, of Colonie
Mark Barth, of Bethlehem
Kristin Baldwin, of Clinton Park
Leon Peck, of Johnstown

The lucky winners of the $319 million lottery are rumored to be seven IT specialists from New York state's Division of Housing and Community Renewal - and we will meet them Thursday.

The seven would split the $319 million jackpot, taking home $202 million after taxes are deducted.

I hear that they are going to work for the state until they can retire and collect full pension and medical, then have their pensions and Lotto money mailed to their new addresses in Florida.

I wonder if they still sympathize with their union brethren in Wisconsin and Albany who are demanding
that state leaders "Tax the Rich".  But, it's always about OPM (Other Peoples' Money), isn't it?

I watched the check presentations and heard the stories of how it went. What was cool was the guy who bought the ticket had reached over to grab a candy bar and another guy butted ahead of him in line. He now wonders if the guy that butted him would have won (probably if he bought a quick pick)

Can tell some of the people still in shock : )
