Bumble, YES there is something PERSONAL with the Iraq war.  It was totally unnecessary & contrived. It killed My Friends, My Brothers, My Children, My Parents, My Neighbors.

Wow - you lost three generations in one war.  That's gotta be one for the record books.

Such a tragic life, have you sought counseling?  No wonder you have PTSD and will never get out of Montgomery County.

Cicero,
I don't support US involvement in Libya.  Got it?  I'll say it again... I don't support US involvement in Libya.

Just because you're a Conservative and have a comprehension problem, I'll say it again... I don't support US involvement in Libya.
That may change in the future, if the situation changes, but with the situation today, I think that other countries can handle this situation better than the USA can.

I do support the UN involvement to some extent in Libya.

You were right on one thing though... when you posted:
~ *"But lets not forget!  Bush = Bad"* ~
Bad for the economy, bad for jobs, bad for Iraqi and Afghan civilians, bad as a baseball team owner, bad for home ownership, bad as an oil well tycoon, bad for those who believe that torture is wrong, bad in so many ways.

Apparently MT has no regard for the US Military who paid the ultimate price for the optional Iraq war.  I've met Conservatives before like this.  They feel the US Military is a tool to further their  political agenda, not real human beings... not our brothers, our family or our neighbors... just a disposable resource.

If  MT was the one bleeding in some unnecessary war for oil, he might have felt differently.

Good thing Obama is continuing those policies.   But of course they are now good policies since the President has a (D) next to his name.  Obama isn't a war criminal for dropping hundreds of 2000 lbs bombs on a unsuspecting civilian population in support of a Libyan rebel/Al Qaeda civil war?  You're beautiful man.  Keep onfightin the good fight.  Maybe Obama is following you post's and will come to your house and pull his pants down and let you LITERALLY kiss his a$$.

Is Obama a liar and a war criminal Box?  You won't go that far will you.  Obama can drop bombs from 30,000 feet and kill innocent civilians without without even addressing Congress, and not a peep or a negative comment.  Good Job Box - Party loyalty first.

Gadfly is correct this problem of debt didn't start yesterday it has been coming on for years. This is what happens when politicians both Reps and Dems make promises to get elected and full well know that it will take decades for the debt to come due. Well the time is here and the debt is due and the government can't pay for it. All the promises that were made will now have to be broken and some people are going to be very upset about it. Real budget cuts must be made and all programs will have to suffer some cuts, Medicare, Social Security, welfare, Medicaid, and all the rest of the government give away programs will must be included as well. If we continue the way we are going we will collapse as a country and all will suffer or we can all give some back and save our country, the choice is ours and we had better pick wisely.

You got me on the lie claim.  In order to lie, Obama would have had to give a reason to the American people before waging this "kinetic military action".  But he didn't.  And liberals DON'T CARE!  The crime, how about dead Libyan civilians at the hands of U.S. bombs and missiles.  And for what?  Was Libya a threat to the U.S. or any of the UN nations dropping bombs in the attempt to oust Gaddafi?  NO!!!  We have governments suppressing protesters throughout the middle east - why did the "international community"(minus Germany/Russia/China) decide to protect Libyans?

I know, I know, you'll counter with what about Bush in Iraq 9 YEARS AGO.  I'm used to the red herring argument by now.  I don't know why I waste my time.

I always knew missiles fired by democrat presidents were more accurate and didn't cause collateral damage. Our troops and airmen and women don't suffer "battle fatigue" when democrats are president, and our military isn't "spread too thin" with democrat presidents.  It amazes me.

Why don't you people put your books down and look around you.  You absolutely cannot deny that bush took this country down with the help of Cheney. After 9 11 the world extended immense goodwill until the cowboy in the white house decided to take us to war unjustly. And you fools want only to blame Obama.  Stop rewriting histiory

It doesn't take ONE president to take down America....

1. we have 3 branches with checks and balances
2. Bush/Obama weren't raised from a vacuum
3. IT TAKES A GENERATION TO TAKE DOWN A COUNTRY
4. IT TAKES A GENERATION TO ELEVATE A COUNTRY
5. war will ALWAYS exist
6. WE NEED TO STOP HAVING MEMORIALS AND RUNNING AROUND LIKE STUPID SCARED MICE

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

fight their own civil wars and maybe the social peace protestors would like lend their own blood to the causes when they say"someone needs to do
something about that"----go right ahead......I wont feel sorry for you because you stood on your own 2 feet to do it......here's your medal....

BTW-----there is no draft......no army=no war.........

no drug user=no drug dealer

So there was no lie... and the Crime?
War casualties are NOT a crime.  They should be avoided but are not CRIMINAL.  Read the Geneva Conventions to find out  the difference between war casualties and  war crimes.

A WAR CRIME (like water boarding) torture, something that the US & it's allies have executed war criminals for, is quite different than casualties of war.
Since Obama didn't lie (Bush did) and you haven't offered even a hint of a war crime (Bush=Torture), you were quite right... You are wasting your time and mine.

Obama didn't lie.  OK, so there are no more troops in Iraq or Afghanistan, right?  And Gitmo is closed, right?  And there's no additional taxes for the middle class, right?

So to recap:

No Lie
NO War Crime...

Just more of Cicero's BS...
so he changes the subject.

Just your typical Conservative!
