These leaders plan for NOTHING!! Of course this was going to be another money pit beast. The state and fed government are imposing non funded mandates along with cutting funding. It is now up to the states/cities/towns to cut spending where they can. The first step in trying to accomplish this would be to privatize as much as possible!!

The nursing home will be another money pit beast. Have the leaders not heard that the federal medicaid mandates are 'now' being funded 100%. However, and if memory serves me here..........that funding will start to decrease in 2014. Where does the county leaders think they are going to get the money to pick up where the federal government left off?

Just like the private citizen and private businesses know that costs are increasing and will continue to. They make provisions for these future increases, by cutting spending, lowering down their debt and putting money away for the inevitable. The  schenectady band of dimwits on the other hand does just the opposite!!!  PATHETIC!!
