Sometimes I think they choose a surgeon general just to get a quack doctor out of the active medical field.

Ugh, what an idiot. It's bad enough people are getting all kinds of wrong information about the fallout threat.

It's unfortunate that even doctors sometimes are so ignorant. I was listening to a call-in show on the radio the other day that featured a surgeon answering caller questions. Someone called in and said that his asthma was acting up and that he also noticed that the "chemtrails" were worse than usual over the capital district. (If you're not familiar with the conspiracy theory, "chemtrails" are actually the condensation trails of air planes but some people think they are chemicals being dispersed by the government for whatever reason.) Not only did the doctor not refute the chemtrail claim, he said that it could be a possibility that they were causing the asthma!

All the czars, all the cabinet members - when was the last time you heard anything logical coming from ANY of them - and yes Tom (the Bush basher), that includes Bush/Cheney/etc with their duct tape and plastic.

Just totally clueless.

P Iodine is generally a way to fill your pituitary gland so that the iodides don't make their way in there when you are exposed to radiation. You are supposed to it take just before an exposure. Considering the 100's and 100's of atmospheric nuclear blasts we have had on our continent and across the globe as thermonuclear bombs were tested over the past 65 years or so, this is tantamount to saying "Oh my God, someone just drove by smoking a cigarette and I got a whiff of it- rush me to the hospital so they can operate on my lung cancer!"

Unless someone sets off a dirty bomb in Schenectady, I don't think any of us need to take it.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

There are plenty of dirty bombs in Schenectady, just not nuclear ones.

It's seems these politicians are getting crazier and crazier.  They all talk out of both sides of their mouths.  Never do anything productive.  I just know they can't be this stupid.  They just think we are this stupid.
