The campaign has been conducted openly -- they are meeting the voters and answering the questions.  They have attended ALL of the candidate forums -- unlike their opponents.

So now you have an artificial "gotcha!"

I heard that the entire democratic ticket is on the take from the police brass to give them unlimited overtime and build them a new 20 million dollar police palace too! How do you like that one? They will insure that we continue to have the highest paid police chief in the region, and that no one will pay more than Rotterdam, in return for his brother giving the police and conservative party endorsement to the democrats. They are the only ticket that makes sure they give the police brass every last red cent they want too, without asking one question!

How do you like that?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I did overhear somebody speaking about the demotions for the RPD in the FDG proposed budget...They didn't seem too concerned because they said what they lose in salary will be made up in overtime.  So Scamilton will just jack up the OT to compensate the demoted officers in total disregard of FDG's attempt to show some fiscal responsibility.

The Chief is one of the finest individualsI have ever known.. He is hardworking and diligent and non-political in every way while on the job -- what he does off the clock is his own constitutional right.

We need a new police station and justice court --- it will get built --- but it won't cost $20 million.

It will be built -- and the NNN will whine, while the entire town cheers as they loaded into the paddy wagon to be the first "guests" of the new Facility!

Hopefully, the new police department and justice court will be part of a new municipal center -- one that can be built in phases -- that will house ALL the departments of the town and include a multi-generational community center.

we could have  town pool directly beneath the town board's meeting room -- with a special switch and trap doors to dump the  Nayboobs into the water if they get out of hand at town meetings

What I heard is that DelGallo was advised by his high priced campaign manager to propose 16 layoffs to put the other board members
in a position where they would have to call for a public hearing to go over the 2% tax cap.  He knows that there will be no layoffs and has said
as much quietly to a handful of people.  He was advised that he would garner more votes from residents if he looked like he was looking
out for taxpayers and screwing town employees.  No one is getting laid off.  Its a scam thought up by DelGallo's manager.......  He knows the
money is there to avoid firing town employees.

As for the nonsense about jacking up overtime of cops- I am sure if I heard that Frank D is telling people that there wont be layoffs,
then by now all town employees figured out that the budget DelGallo put out was just meant to deceive the public into thinking that he is
playing hardball with the unions and is willing to fire 15 or 16 people.   So- no need to jack anything up if no one is leaving.
Simply just a political stunt to squeeze other board members.

I have never spoken to the man, so no I am not a close friend.  But I do trust the people that told me the plan.  I guess you will have to wait
a few weeks to see if I am right.
