And like every other new eatery in Rotterdam, it will have a full parking lot  for 6 months..and then reality sets in.

The eateries in Rotterdam that provide good food and good service at a good price --- have full parking lots for a lot longer than 6 months --  they have loyal customers for many years.

The ones that don't have full parking lots after 6 months - only have themselves to blame.

I hope the food is better than the one on Wolf Road.....

I'm sure it was built(allowed) there for the Belvedere for after the wedding hang out....if Mallozzis do well so will the recovery room...
when going out of town for weddings one doesn't care what common swill is being poured....it's about the ambiance....

Maybe senders prefers "common swill" ..  I prefer a good beer from Belgium or from a small local brew pub wherever I am at.     Of course -- a good Scotch whiskey or a vodka  .. both straight up with just a splash of water.

More restaurants and more businesses create traffic -- traffic brings customers --- ALL benefit.    A little competition never hurt anyone -- unless the business is failing to provide good products and/or good services.

BTW --  we could use some more competition in the retail supermarket category ---- bring in a Fresh Market and a Whole Foods and a Wegman's to Schenectady County.

Only see it rotating the existing customer base.    Are just so many in the populace here.  If you have a Recovery by you on Wolf Rd. or wherever, no need to come here.       More markets?   May be good for the public but I think Mr. Golub feels he has his handsfull now    And from what I understand he gives back to the community.   Would the new entrants into our area do the same?

Strong recovery
Marv Cermak

Several months ago, here there was mention of the impending opening of a new Recovery Sports Grill in Rotterdam.
The latest addition to the chain of bar/restaurants arose after the demolition of the time-worn Capital Plaza at the corner of Curry Road and Altamont Avenue.
Well, just as an update, the pub with the 40 TVs has been booming since its early March opening. The parking lot, with a capacity of 60 or so, is overflowing on weekends. Patrons solve this problem by landing in spaces at nearby businesses closed at night.
Altamont Avenue, which essentially is Rotterdam's downtown, has undergone many retail changes in recent years.....................>>>>.............>>>>...............Read more: http://www.timesunion.com/defa.....49.php#ixzz1IeKcxsXY

The entire project is absurd. Just what this County needs another governmental gin mill? No shortage of those floundering Downtown. If they want to come to town great-do it on your dime. Like they did in Amsterdam. Only in Schenectady County would industrial development funds be wasted in this manner. Smells like teen spirit-I mean stale beer.
