Actually -- it is the "boss" or in this case two guys who think they are "kings of everything" need to learn how to work with others --
Or perhaps work with tj hooker??? Again.....FDG ran on 'changing how rotterdam does business'. Looks like the rest of the dems didn't expect him to really do it. UH OH!! Ya can say what you want....but the three musketeers are losing ground and FDG is gaining! Rotterdamians can see through the curtain in OZ! |

Since there is no one named TJ Hooker involved in town politics -- your comment is completely stupid. The Democrats supported the WHOLE team -- we did not elect someone who thinks he can rule autocratically and pull the strings attached to the supervisor. |

Perhaps that word doesn't mean what you think it does! You supported the WHOLE team. FDG was a PART of the WHOLE team FDG is an autocratic ruler. You elected an autocratic ruler! |

By law -- the supervisor is ONE of 5 members of the Town Board (although a town could have as few as 3 or as many as 7 according to New York State law) ... there are a few other responsibilities attached to the supervisor's office such as presiding over Town Board meetings and having certain fiduciary responsibilities --- but the Office of Supervisor is NOT the chief executive officer of the town. In fact - the WHOLE town board is both the legislative and executive. The deputy supervisor is no more than just a person designated to preside at board meetings in the absence of the supervisor and sign certain reports in the absence of the supervisor. The belief that either person has more powers than those actually granted under the law is basically just having delusions of grandeur. Sadly, those delusions have caused real pain for many residents of the town. |

They won't listen to reasonable people. That is why those of us who busted are butts to get them elected are so fed up. They are as stubborn as mules ... although I believe that mules have a lot more common sense. |

nooooooooooooooo.....rumor on the street has it that the dems were hard pressed for volunteers. If anyone busted their butt it was due to lack of support. Money wasn't an object since FDG was the cash cow. Even savage, in her run actually had to pay people to work for her campaign. Looks like FDG is as smart as a fox and the dems are whining cause he ain't playin' nice nice with them. OPPS! stick a fork in the dems............they're done!!!! |
