Depsite the fact that there are several others who could do that job better than JD and with greater integrity isn't it a little surprising that he would WANT a job where he was voted down twice in a row?

Diane Marco should be reinstated to her position.

The supervisor has the nerve to ask me to vote to endorse him -- when he has screwed with the lives of so many decent people at town hall.

If he reinstates Ms. Marco,  puts the 5 town employees back where they belong and apologizes to Ms Dileva forhis vulgar and rude comments about her -- I might withdraw my request for him and his deputy to resign immediately.   To hell with endorsing him for another term.

“Mr. DeGeorgio is qualified for this job, and one way or another, he is going on that job,” said De Gallo. “Hopefully, they will vote him on it. If they don’t, the senior center must run, and as the supervisor, I am going to put the most qualified guy in that job.

FDG appears to be trying to clean out the barn like revitalize rotterdam campaigned on. Apparently FDG saw that there should be more to go than just surprise.

FDG should just close the 'gossip center'. He's going to be a one term super.....so have at it and make the changes that rotterdamians have been waiting for!! Make waves and expose everything!!!  What would really be great? Drop EE's salary down to ONE BUCK!! He has nothing to lose!!!

Nope you can't treat EE that way.  I agree she needs to do what is right now and resign.  I think DM will make an excellent TC.  BT this is probably why you didn't make it in politics.  FDG may be a one-time Super but he isn't going to go out on a sour note just to appease some Rep. con artists.  You forget he still is in business.  Not very astute thinking.

Joe Suhrada should run for Super if you really want someone who will an activist for the town.  He combines his head with his heart most of the time and that's what sets him apart from the rest.

My postscript has to do with MY view of the future ..  I have talked about a lot more than the status quo .. and unlike you I am ACTIVELY involved in several committees that are actually accomplishing something in this town.
Yet -- all you and the rest of the folk whine and complain and sit on your butts doing NOTHING to change the status quo.

The fact of the  matter is that you don't have to belong to some committee to make a difference in your town/city. To imply the opposite is just arrogant!

When the electorate tries to change the status quo they are referred to BY YOU, as negative!! So unless everyone thinks in the same direction as you..........they are of no use to society? SHAME ON YOU!!

Congratulations to all the people who sit tirelessly through your town/city meetings!!! Let your voices be heard!! And ya don't have to belong to some cracked up committee to make a difference!!!

DVR is another example of how the liberal socialist dems are NOT representing the electorate. They support their own party ideals and the select few!!  The dems and cons have destroyed rotterdam!!! VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!

REVITALIZE ROTTERDAM............yea right!!

Agree or not, but it appears that FDG is the only one from the 'revitalize rotterdam team' that is actually trying to change/revitalize rotterdam. And he is apparently receiving a lot of heat for it. And from the very same people who ran with him and supported and endorsed him. I guess all of the rotterdamians were bullsh!tted on this one.

The dems/cons had no intention of 'revitalizing rotterdam'. They just thought that FDG would pave the way and rubber stamp everything THEY wanted for their own personal and political agenda.....well, SURPRISE!!!!!! Ain't happenin'! Not without a fight!

The dems/cons have totally screwed up this time. They lied to the electorate plain and simple!

VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!
