That's because Tommasone illegally allowed REMS to bill, collect and RETAIN ALS funds that should have been going into the
general fund...the projected ALS revenue is only now appearing in the budget because the ALS collection will now be done the
right way...legally. This is why Tommasone slipped $120,000 into his last budget on his way out the door...he knew that REMS
would no longer be able to collect those funds on the sly once he was gone in the new year.

what about the rest of the numbers that had to have existed before.....WHERE WAS THAT $$ GOING.....I really see it as a vortex
happening behind the scenes.....there is a wizard in OZ and it doesn't matter wether the dems/reps are in charge......where's the
metroplex $$ go??? honestly, I'm NOT the sharpest tool in the shed but my best trait is that I am a susser.....The whole thing
looks and smells wrong.....the afore mentioned 'club' knows what gives......the ALS sh*t was happening before tommasone too....

This is exactly how zoning goes on in Rotterdam, so in the end, expect that they will get what they want.  This happens all the time.  I realize this was on the agenda last year, but can anyone tell me if there has ever been a zoning change (besides this one before) that didn't go through in Rotterdam?

If we stand together as a town and let them know we won't stand for this, maybe that's a start at stopping this.  Times have changed, information travels quickly.  Let's take our town back from those who are not interested in the greater good.

I think everyone cares about the budget.  The problem is nobody knows how to fix it.  You know in a lot of ways FDG gets it on a certain level w/o the help of BG.  Because he knows business.  When he ran, he thought and acted like a business person--now that the ppolitical interactions have bitten him he has lost his focus.  I think that happens to everyone.  I don't think that happened to Paolino because he was a "dollars and sense" guy.  (not a misspell)

The only "dollars" Paolino  cared about was his own and the only "sense" Paolino  had was not to run again. He was the "brains" that put Tomassone and company in power. He was a minority Supervisor who accomplished very little. Was it good sense to take Curry Rd shopping Ctr off the tax rolls for some "pie in the sky" Muny Ctr?  Was it good sense to give the cops a contract so full of bennies that we taxpayers are paying for mightily?  Was it good sense to take care of his school yard chums and family members?  Was it good sense to bail on the taxpayers for 80,000K while Rotterdam felt the brunt of his reval agenda?  His tax bill went down as did his friends and family members then he headed to Schenectady to inflict his pain and "pleasure" on those taxpayers.

He is a self serving PIG!!!  Wake up Boom.  He is not what you spew!

Paolino was a good steward of Rotterdam's finances, IMO...he was a budget cutter...a fiscal conservative. He also made it clear when
he ran the first time that he would run for no more than two terms...and he kept that promise. He was also a member of what was
then a Democrat majority who accomplished more in his fours years than many in a lifetime of political positions.

Paolino didn't give the PD free reign...quite the opposite...it was Tommasone who gave them the farm in exchange for political
support he never got....you may remember that it was Paolino who negotiated the last SPD contract, as their hatred for Stratton
is well known...and Paolino was able to gain concessions from the PBA...not easy to do.

The reval was something that had to be done...I do think the process was botched, but by no fault of Paolino.

He was offered the job in the City because of what he did in Rotterdam...and probably prevented the City from going bankrupt...a
disaster for which the surrounding Towns surely would have paid....dearly...while continuing to fulfill his duties as Supervisor.

Gee BT don't you just hate it when the great Gadfly calls you out?  She usually calls it the way it is.  And Raspy what school yard chums and family members.  You would have to detail that because I do not know what you are speaking about.  I do not know him to be that way.  But this I know he was a very fair super and never asked anyone to do what he wouldn't do himself and that included janitorial work.

Girvin and Ferlazzo, Yullie, Riitano, Marco Family members, Lucca,Whipple, Griesemer, Verrigni, Volpicelli, all tied to JP through school, family, lifelong friends and neighbors. Some of these folks got jobs in the City.   And he has the audacity to rip FDG. I found his return from exile to be highly hypocritical, bizarre and narcissistic.

Wrong person to point fingers. IMHO

Threats and accusations typical for "little" man  Napoleon Paolino.

Really Raspy?  What did he give Riitano?  A job???  A job she was qualified for?  A job she took a ten thousand dollar cut to take?  YOu better be more accurate than that you damn fool.

Rasputin, Can you prove Paolino is related to any of those people.  I bet not.  You threw out their names what did he do for them?  I think you're statement is libelous.

He gave them or relatives of them positions in his administration by pushing others out.  THE SAME THING THAT THE CURRENT SUPERVISOR IS ALLEDGED TO HAVE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  What about the single female parent with two kids he pushed out of the engineer's position???

Yossi, Alley, Boomer....you sound like Paolino did with his threat to sue FDG for canning Marco....LOL!!!

I have no idea who you are speaking about.  ENGINEER?????   The town had an engineer and they still have all this water problem.  Yes I do know Boomer.  I never said I didn't.  Have patronized their bakery for years and still do.  Neither she nor her husband are related to Paolino. Alley is no one I know.  These people are not relatives of Paolino I don't think.  For sure Boomer is not. No threats here either.  But according to you everyone who was already working in the town (Griesmer, Lucca, Yuille) were all there prior to JP.

Seems to me if there was an engineer and you have drainage problems that exist, she may have needed to be canned.  Or maybe NOT.  I have no idea who or why that person was dismissed but I am sure it was not summarily.
