Spidey you are big on ASSumptions lately...I'm still waiting for you to explain the basis of your "conspiracy theorist" assessment.

I don't recall suggesting that I am a "political genius"...and I'm sure you can't explain how you arrived at that conclusion either...

You recently made it a point to accuse me of "ignoring" you when I didn't immediately respond to one of your irate posts...yet you
ignore valid questions regarding your own impulsive comments.

Not that this answers any of my questions that you are obviously "ignoring"....I never said any such thing. In fact I distinctly remember
listing the positions of each Board member..,individually...with FDG/BG/ND all against the tax...it's in the Mohawk thread...as is the
explanation for the REMS sign on ND's lawn...go find them.

So it is ND on the dem line! Perfect! Now the copservatives OWN the democraps! I love how they turned the party over to them. I think it hysterical.

Brian McGarry wins it hands down over the cop-owned candidate. A real conservative-republican. Thank you for the heads up.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

My recollection from watching that meeting was that the vote cast by ND was to put the creation of a taxing district out to a referendum.  In order to put it out to vote a tax district had to be hypothetically created.....but its creation was contingent upon approval of the voters.   You are all shading the truth.....as usual on this blog.  By why should that stop you?

If the Town Board voted in favor of creating a F'n taxing district for an amusement park and then put it up for referendum, I would hold the Town Board members politically responsible for voting to create such an unpopular & unnecessary taxing district.  If these clowns misread the residents by a 2 to 1 margin, they deserve to be thrown out.

It is apparent to most residents that this was an attempt to sneak through a taxing district in the cold of winter that would have helped organize and fund(with taxpayer money) another politically active bloc of essentially Town employees.  Republicans and Democrats were tripping over each other to be the ones that could claim victory and put the REMS under their political tents.

Doesn't anybody question WHY politicians of all stripes went ahead with this vote, regardless of the lack of public support?
