The WTT NY Buzz has announced they're are merging with the NYC tennis team and will play all but 2 matches in New York City. The team used to play all its home matches in Schenectady's Central Park before fleeing for the SEFCU Arena in Albany. Before that Central Park hosted the OTB Open which brought thousands of tennis fans into Schenectady and Central Park. Another indication of the dramatic decline of professional tennis and the decline of Schenectady as a sports venue. The name never made any sense.
