Very possible. If anyone finds it, it will be Pat Z. She is one dedicated person, and a brilliant mind and knows where to find things. It might take a little while, but should happen. Hey, he's being paid with taxpayer money. Taxpayers have a birthright entitlement to know how much salary he makes.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
It's (unfortunately) more complicated than you suggest.
I don't believe that all non profits - even the fake ones... Have to disclose all their salary information just because they are indirectly subsidized by the taxpayers. (In this case though, more directly of course)
I would LOVE to know what his salary is - not for me to be jealous, but so that in case he is making an inappropriately large salary... To see the "leadership" team defend him.
At the same time - if he is underpaid compared to what other people in his industry are paid - in a similar role... Then frankly his credibility would grow with me.

the industry decides what areas are hot or not.....maybe his 'industry' pays alot less here than in say, NYC or areas where the industry is very well established.....
either way,,,,I'm sure he's NOT HURTING...just very very busy pursuing his hobby.....
PS....I bet he's NOT a starving artist....

It may be complicated perhaps, but Pat will find a way.
I read, maybe here, maybe it was Pat that said it, I can't remember, that this PT Redevelopment is a for-profit business. But there's got to be something with for-profit businesses, living off the taxpayer dole, and filing income taxes, that should be an open book
If it's so difficult, at least we'll never have to worry about him running for office. But then, he can work behind the scenes

The city council is free to APPOINT anyone who's not a council member
Hey, maybe Susie Savage, at least it would get her out of the county, narrow her down to one muni?

Most public authorities have the ability to borrow funds by issuing debt. Total public authority debt reached more than $120.4 billion in 2004, and continues to grow. $37 billion of this debt is State-supported, accounting for more than 90 percent of total outstanding State-supported debt

SCHENECTADY Downtown property tax deals don’t please everyone BY MICHAEL LAMENDOLA Gazette Reporter
When Pat Zollinger looks at downtown Schenectady, she sees a block of beautiful buildings filled with businesses making money. She also sees a problem. Many of these buildings are tax exempt, and she cites this as a reason taxes are so high for Schenectady property owners. “People ought to know what is going on downtown. We have the largest tax burden in the Capital Region, but not everyone has a large tax burden. There are businesses downtown making money but not paying taxes,” Zollinger said. “We are paying an extreme amount of taxes and downtown is burdening us.” Zollinger, a longtime government critic, has twice run for City Council, once in 2005 and then again last year. In the last election, she created her own party, S.T.O.P., the Schenectady Taxpayers Outrage Party. Zollinger said the city is looking at a $13 million deficit in 2012. “Everybody has got to pay. That is the only way the city will make it,” she said. Zollinger outlined her latest anti-tax effort on her blog, listing downtown properties as exempt on the 2010 city tax rolls. “This means that we the average taxpayers are footing their bill while many of these corporations enjoy large profi ts while thumbing their noses at us. How can this be?” she asks on her blog. In a telephone conversation, Zollinger explained: “The direction of who city government is representing has changed. They are representing their own personal likes, not the taxpayer.” She described “personal likes” as supporting arts and entertainment venues run mostly by Proctors, a nonprofi t. Ray Gillen, chairman of the Metroplex Development Authority, who helped craft most of the tax-exempt deals that created the beautiful buildings, disagreed with Zollinger’s data. ..................>>>>..................>>>>..............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r00101&AppName=1
I think to examine his answer, we all need to look at how much M'plex spent, of taxpayer $, to get that $4.5m. I'm betting it's somewhere around 2:1 or 3:1.
If the PILOT program was doing so much for Schenectady then why is the city operating with a $13 million deficit, has to constantly keep raising taxes, create new fees, and school taxes rise every year. In order to be working the program needs to lower taxes for residents, create jobs, and attract businesses to want to come here. Now ask yourself the question are any of these things happening and are things getting better for the taxpayer?
This program is similar to the one the Federal Government ran with their stimulus program when the jobs created cost $2 million to create 1 job. It's just not cost effective to continue doing this. How did the cash for clunkers program work out?
