ROTTERDAM
Board discord high as legal team chosen

BY JUSTIN MASON Gazette Reporter

The cluster of resolutions establishing a new legal team for Rotterdam visibly frustrated Supervisor Frank Del Gallo and his deputy.
As the clerk read the roll call on each resolution at Wednesday’s Town Board meeting, Del Gallo and Robert Godlewski answered with curt disapproval. But their votes were for naught, considering the resolutions were backed by a new troika that emerged and seemingly took control of the Town Board this week.
Board members Nicola DiLeva, Matt Martin and Wayne Calder backed a move to hire the Albany-based law firm of Daniels and Porco at a salary of $138,500 per year. They also backed a move to categorize Town Attorney Joseph Liccardi as a deputy to the new firm and promptly terminated the town’s affiliation with labor attorney Brian Goldberger. ...............>>>>.....................>>>>.................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01100&AppName=1

def: - a person having an intelligence quotient of between 50 and 70, unable to work without supervision

I didn't see it in the notes, did they pick a winning bid for the maintenance of the computer systems? I know the bids were opened 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to be awarded at this meeting. I wanted to bid on it but as usual I had no clue that it was open for bid until after the bids got opened.

Some people are just plain ignorant...an d  then there are those who fell off the turnip truck....at Exit 25A....those who blab the most, make no sense....these are the 3 who say the most and do the least.....or, members of what will be the laughing stock of their party and Rotterdam....

There is not ONE out of those five that deserve a re-election!! They may be nice folks outside of politics....but they are NOT leadership material. They ALL have huge egos that have no place in public service.

By watching the videos, it appears that some of the 'spectators' need to get rid of their egos and also learn how to behave as adults in an adult world as well. imho

and the only way to solve the problem is to motivate "BLANKS" until they vote in numbers the names will remain the same

dems
reps
cons
working
libs
green

every one has a true in

until the non party NNTP gets a line at the state level it will have to be about the "BLANKS"

one can only hope the behavior of 2010/2011 is a motivational factor in late 2011

I asked someone and they said that it wasn't mentioned at the meeting. Perhaps you could call the town hall and ask them.

I donot remember it in the info posted here

i did see the legal notice in the gazette

generally there is a resolution directing the supervisor to go out for bids  - don expect the supervisor to follow the boards wishes  -  he "runs this town like a business"  "because I(he) can"

if this is not the case i would be on the phone to both the dynamic duo and the 3 musketeers making a stink as the town got in trouble with state officials over pc/it services because the town utalized a sitting town board member company for the service and.... the a member of the dynamic duo made an issue of the subject at the last meeting  remember to cc JMASON@dailygazette.net  - the dynamic duo hates the press - wont talk to them

speaking of the press -  i hear CBS6 is hot on Eunices A$$ about her ca$h
