Gore: Global Warming Causing Record Cold, Snow

The record-setting snow and cold afflicting much of the nation in recent weeks doesn’t seem to jibe with Al Gore’s dire warnings about global warming. But Gore has an explanation for what’s causing the wintry conditions: global warming.

The former Vice President on Monday responded to Fox News Channel host Bill O’Reilly’s on-air question last week: “Why has southern New York turned into the tundra?” O’Reilly then said he needed to call Gore.

“I appreciate the question,” Gore wrote on his website.

“As it turns out, the scientific community has been addressing this particular question for some time now and they say that increased heavy snowfalls are completely consistent with what they have been predicting as a consequence of man-made global warming.”

Gore then quoted an article by Clarence Page in the Chicago Tribune in early 2010: “In fact, scientists have been warning for at least two decades that global warming could make snowstorms more severe. Snow has two simple ingredients: cold and moisture. Warmer air collects moisture like a sponge until it hits a patch of cold air. When temperatures dip below freezing, a lot of moisture creates a lot of snow.

“A rise in global temperature can create all sorts of havoc, ranging from hotter dry spells to colder winters, along with increasingly violent storms, flooding, forest fires and loss of endangered species.”

My theory is that all of this cold and snow was caused by Al Gore leaving the door to the mammoth walk-in freezer of his humongous mansion in Tennessee wide open.

I have heard pilots say that the lights on the Gore estate are brighter than the runway lights at the airport in Nashville.    Oh -- and his house is something like 40,000 square feet ---- that is just under 1/2 the size of the Macy's in Rotterdam Square Mall.

Who needs a 40,000 square foot house ????????????      Maybe that explains why Al was cheating on his wife -- he lost her someplace in the huge house and kept running into the masseuse.

Al needs a house that large to display his nobel piece price.

Famous draft dodger, and college dropout Rush Limbaugh, actually believes that TREES are causing the excess of CO2 in the atmosphere.
Glen Beck, uses shear theatrics, right down to putting Vicks Vapo Rub around his eyes, to make them water.

Beck, cherry picks quotes from history, and bends them all out of proportion.
I once heard him say something about the 14th amendment, and what "The Founding Fathers^TM original intentions were.
Ummm, the 14th amendment was drafted in 1853, and I'm pretty sure they were all dead by then.

I have absolutly no idea why why people like you, defend other people, who to put it very mildly, do not have your best interests in mind.
