DEVELOPING: An explosion ripped through the international arrivals hall at Moscow's busiest airport on Monday, killing at least 35 people and wounding about 46, an airport spokesman said.

Other officials put the death toll at 31 and said about 130 people were injured in the explosion Monday afternoon.

"From the preliminary information we have it was a terror attack," President Dmitry Medvedev told officials.

Russian news agencies reported the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber and law enforcement sources told the Interfax news agency a head found at the site appears to belong to the bomber.
